About as good as it can be

The layout, backlighting, and general typing experience are all very good. The magnetic click-in and prop-up strips are great, and it's nice that it doubles as a cover. Only issue is the trackpad being too small. That said, I don't think there's a whole lot of room for improvement on this front given the limited space, so this is pretty forgivable. However, there's no denying that $130 is an awful lot of money for something like this. It comes down to whether or not you can afford it, but if you can't afford the keyboard cover, I would advise you not to buy a Surface in the first place.

Sturdy and Nicely Spaces Keys
