great addition to the surface when you want a full keyboard. easy to attach and detach.

Works very well and I consider the Type Cover as an essential purchase with the tablet.

I detest on-screen keyboards, especially on a device as capable as the Surface. This solves all of my issues with that. My desktop sports a full-size Corsair K70 with a ten-key, and this didn't take too much time to get used to. Keyboard lights up, which is very useful in the dark. Touchpad is useful, if you don't have a mouse. I've nothing negative to say, as this gets rid the on screen keyboard.

Perfect backlit keyboard for my Surface 3, sufficient angle much better than Surface 2.

Accidentally bought this keyboard instead of the one for the Surface Pro 3 so it was too small. Keyboard is light but feels pretty solid when typing on it.

This keyboard has been surprisingly durable and offers a decent typing experience. I've had no performance or reliability problems whatsoever. Once you get used to it, the feel for typing is fine. The chiclet keys are a little cramped, but that is to be expected on a device of this size. I don't have any problems with the mouse, but still find that I use the Surface Pen to point and select most of the time. The size of the Surface 3 makes the on-screen keyboard a little more unwieldy than an iPad. I recommend anyone who purchases a Surface 3 to get the keyboard.

When I bought my Surface Pro 3 I knew I wanted the type cover. Best Buy wanted $129 but when I pulled up the $99 from Microsoft they price matched it for me. I love the navy blue backlit...so classy looking. I like that when you hook the SP3 to the type cover - the screen looks just like a regular laptop. Take it off of the type cove and the SP3 turns in to a tablet. Could not be happier!
