I bought this with the tablet and the two mate up perfectly. You would never know that it is detachable. I have really enjoyed it

I had a less expensive version of a type cover that worked only intermittently.... frustrating. This cover works great!

I cannot imagine being without this since it is so essential to my writing tasks. The internal lighting system is awesome!

it's great touch with keys, and works perfect as a tablet screen cover. you have two positions how to use it and also the magnetic plug to the tablet works great but: - trackpad sensitivity literally sucks, scrolling is almost impossible and comes natural to use the arrows in order to go faster. - obviously using another wireless keyboard is not compatible with surface 3 for some strange reason i'm not able to use apple's keyboard even if i install drivers etc....

They get ya on the price for this (not Best Buy but Microsoft) but really makes a difference on the Surface 3.

I have had this now for a year now and it is still working as iff i brought yesterday great response time, good connectivity, no lag issue when typing overall a great buy for surface pro 3 owners.

Almost a necessity for the surface tablets. You get the full functionality of out the surface. Good sound and feel

I am happy I got a genuine keyboard at a great price. It fits exactly as mentioned and has a magnetic attachment.

The colors of the keyboards for the Surface 3 are a little child-like, but functionally it does everything you need it to. It's easy to type on but the inboard mouse function could be better. It's a whole lot easier to work with if you use an external mouse. I got the blue tooth mouse and it works great.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no other keyboard for the Surface tablet. I only wish it had Home and End keys.

Backlit keyboard makes it easy to work late while the wife is sleeping.

The quality of this keyboard is extremely good. I was surprised that it was backlite. That is extremely important to me since I do a lot of work in low light areas. The Keys are very responsive and the keyboard is very thin yet it feels very sturdy. I just wish there was room for a 10 key pad.

The "Type Cover for Microsoft Surface 3" converts the Surface 3 from a tablet to a laptop. The simple magnetic attachment is easy to use and provides a cover for the screen when its not in use. Does not add to much weight to the Surface. I believe its a must have for anyone who has a Surface.
