Got this for a gift - works great with the Suface tablet. Light, thin, and a great accessory!

I would highly recommend this to anyone who what's to update to tablet instead of a laptop.

The Surface is a great tablet but sometimes it just needs a keyboard. This is the one for me!

keyboard not necessary but cant imagine not having the cover. doesn't add much weight.

Adding the keyboard took my Surface 3 to the next level. Now I can use it more like a laptop computer and not just as a tablet. It attaches securely with a strong magnet but detaches easily with a firm tug. The keys illuminate under low light conditions.

Even though I liked this I had to return it because the Surface would never work right.

I wanted the Surface partly because of the keyboard rather then just the touch screen.

I like the lighted keyboard and the magnetic latch on the keyboard to hold it to the microsoft surface. I would give it a five if it was not so expensive.

Excellent backlit keyboard. Love the magnetic feature and its slim and lightweight.

The cover is painless to pair and use. The keyboard feels great for being as thin and light as it is. The touch surface isn't great, but it gets the job done. All in all, I would say that it is a necessary accessory to get the best experience for the Surface.

This is a must if you want a surface. it is a wonderful keyboard. really really good nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Except for the fact that it is stupidly expensive and does not come with the surface. it is a needed peripheral and yet it does not come standard with the device. really really stupid.

I bought this for my son's Surface 3, definitely a great accessory that makes the Surface more useful. While the touchpad is not as big as the Pro 4's, it is very usable and well designed. My son uses the touch screen only occasionally because of the usability of the touchpad. He also loves the fact you can adjust the LED backlight level. Keep in mind also, it can serve in a pinch for your other Surface devices, I use it interchangeably with my Pro 4. Though different sizes, it works well. On thing to keep in mind- other side of the keyboard is almost "felt like", not a super durable material that will hold up to rubbing against hard stuff repeatedly (ie. my son has it shoved in with other stuff in heavy backpack). The age is already starting to show wear (shiny/discolored corners) after just a couple of weeks of use in school and some trips in the backpack.

The Surface 3 keyboard functions well and interfaces with the Windows 8 OS, allowing the use of the keyboard and mouse-pad instead of direct screen touch.

For the rather flat keyboard as decent feel. And a must have for the Surface tablet.

This keyboard makes the computer into a full fledged computer platform. It is so cool and easy to use anywhere on the train, park or on the plane. Just pull it out and you are either gaming or surfin the web or finsh paper work before you get home.
