I was so use to a keyboard that I purchased one after I got my Surface 3 tablet.

We bought this external keypad for our 12 year old's Surface. Works well as a keyboard, but we like the extra protection that it provides for the touch screen. It's easy to attach and detach and while it's not the best keyboard in the world in terms of key responsiveness, size, etc., for what it is intended to be, a very light keyboard for a tablet, it works well.

Loops great . Operates well . Keys light up Malek get it perfect in any scenario

The only complaint I have is that it doesn't fit well on a airplane tray table.

This is an amazing ad on feature to my surface tablet .I love the way it just hooks on . I went to best buy and fell in love with this set up. Purchased a different set up , got home and returned to store to purchase the surface and type cover . Love it

Not MY favorite color, but my child LOVES the color pop it adds to the computer.

Only downside to purchasing the Surface 3 is that they get you on the back end, meaning the detachable keyboard. I initially did not purchase, but working the screen on the keyboard gets old. So back to Best Buy to get it. Somehow, I believe that's how the Microsoft folks envisioned this occurring. Best thing about it besides being detachable is the back lit keys.

I bought this for a surface 3 that I already owned and it's both a great cover and keyboard. The keys are backlit and have good travel and feel. The magnetic attachment is amazing; easy to remove and lines up for reattachment perfectly every time.

I love the color of keyboard and that it is magnetic and snaps right in place.

Always connects when needed and doesnt when it is flipped back like it should.

To use as a desk top, the keyboard is needed. Makes fast typing a lot easier.

I can type on it. Wish it was larger. Home row isn't easy to find. Turns off automatically when folded around flat to the rear of the surface.

Clicks in place very nicely and connects right away. Just what I needed !
