The keyboard works great and it helps protect the screen when closed because it serves as a cover.

This keyboard was exactly what I needed for my Surface 3. I haven't had any issues with it and I love how it looks in the dark with the back-lit keys. I love the microfiber on the back so I can carry it around. The only things that I don't like are how it is kind of awkward using it as a tablet when the keyboard is folded back, and I have a feeling the edges will eventually open up because they are just glued together. We'll see how long the glue lasts wear and tear.

I was really glad I purchased this for my Surface, The Surface with the keyboard is a perfect laptop replacement.

My granddaughter now wants one. Maybe for Xmas. I love the smooth finish and the light touch needed ti work on.

If you buy a surface I would recommend a keyboard. Makes life so much easier and it protects your screen too.

when purchasing a surface a type cover is a must, there is no sense in getting a surface without the cover

The type keyboard works just like a regular keyboard you will think you are on your home computer.

The keyboard is easy to snap on. I don't know how it will hold up to the dirt, because of the texture.
