Sure it works but...

Keyboard works great with the Microsoft Surface

The keyboard works extremely well with the tablet and my daughter has not had any issues with the keyboard. The keyboard snaps easily to the tablet and the keyboard covers the screen of the tablet well when the tablet is not in use.
