Like all things Microsft Surface this keyboard works right out of the box without long complex instructions. It adds to the flexibility and versatility of the Surface. Thanks Microsoft and Best Buy for a reliable, user friendly keyboard!

What I needed for my tablet it does not fall off once attached

Pretty comfortable and really good feedback from each stroke

I purchased an open box product, works fine but the bottom was soiled and came with out the box

Just wish this had a backlight hard to see the letters and number unless you have alot of light.

0 is not in the correct place. In order to place the arrow buttons the 0 place was misplaced.

Love this so much bought one for my wife too and junked all old laptops. The team at Best Buy very helpful and use for both work and home use. Best investment ever had to make and does everything I need to do and then some.

I upgraded my keyboard from the flat one to the Type Cover and there is no comparison. I wish I had changed it out sooner. Very responsive. On my old one I couldn't tell if I was typing without looking at the screen.

This tablet PC feels very clunky and slow to use compared the MacBook that I use to have, and it was 6 years old. My MacBook was recently stolen from my truck, and I was stuck to buy something in a pinch to get work done so I bought a Surface PC. Boy, do I regret this purchase. I use Microsoft Office on a daily basis to draft proposals and create spreadsheets for my job. When the program isn't freezing on me while I'm mid way through a document, It is SLOW. Just using Microsoft Office, I can't imagine trying to do anything else on it. I've tried streaming videos from YouTube on my downtime, and it really struggles to even handle that. I'm returning it today for a refund, before my 30 days is up. I'm ready to get back to using a reliable computer for my work on the go, this is no way my main work station, but I gave it a try and it's just no good.

I liked the my Surface 2 flushed backlight keyboard keyboard much better than the new surface 3 keyboard. it's noisy when you type and makes it feel cheaply made. I have used my Surface 2 keyboard on my new Surface 3, and it works fine, however it is a bit wider and doesn't flex when folding it the folio case.

Must have if you purchase a surface. This really makes the surface what it's intended to be. I don't like that you have to pay extra for it though!

I like the keyboard, but I hate that there's no where to store the pen.

The type cover is absolutely necessary for a surface tablet? Because unlike the iPad the on screen keyboard gets in the way. The display of the surface is poorly engineered.
