I later realized it was to hold the keyboard tight against the screen when moving around with it. (I think)

Sturdy and well built

Masculine look but does have detail touches

Another thing is, unlike other case I used before, can charge both ways (other case was limiting spaces around charging plug area, so had to plug in specific way and was very awkward)! Don't let the look fool you, it does have great detail touches. It also can stand up horizontally with this case too!

Strong enough to stand up to most anything

I have dropped my table several times with this on it and my Rottie has even stepped on it and nothing happened to my tablet. I don't recommend testing out the table to see if your 100 lb. dog can break it but I was pleasantly surprised when I found my tablet was unharmed.

A MUST FOR SURFACE PRO
