Many appreciate the case's lightweight design, snug fit, and ease of use, including the functionality of its stand. However, some customers find the price point to be high for the features offered and express concerns about the bulkiness and the cover's design. The only case I trust to protect my $1000 iPad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously Apple. Why must you constantly raise your prices on us and then create more features and upgrades that force me to buy your latest device? Anyways, now that I've literally spent a stack on your new iPad, I need to make sure my twin 5-year old hyper active "tweens" don't turn this thing into technological mush. I've had UAG on my iPhone in the past with no fuss over the last 3 years and ran across this at the Best Buy in Irvine on my last business trip. After asking the sales rep for the best case for my iPad and not getting an answer I liked, I tried this out. Pros: I love the feel, the flip screen, and the grippy exterior. I thought this thing would be way bulky but it's not. I actually trust this thing with my kids now. Cons: It's a bit pricey but if my iPad still works in 2022 then it was money well spent. Full Disclosure: I am a tech nerd so my views may not represent the general population.

Best third party case so far for the 3rd Gen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reading some of the reviews some have mentioned that this is a last minute mod. The opening for the Apple Pencil is really the only option you have available you have the volume buttons to the left of the pencil and a little bit of space on the right hand side. The additional pencil hold looks like a nice place for the pencil when working in portrait mode. The only question I have is why the front cover is removable is you can’t attach the keyboard like you would do on the 1st and 2nd gen iPad Pro. So maybe there is some last minute changes but the only third party case with Apple Pencil support for charging.

Best Case for iPad Pro Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This may be the best case for the iPad pro I've owned. Slim, Lightweight and durable. It hold the New Apple Pencil on the side but doesn't travel well in a bad so I use the top attachment and it holds well. Makes c carrying a MacBook pro and iPad so must easier.

iPad Protection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Folio, I’m using now while writing this review in August 2022. Shows some wear but I use it a lot. It provides enough protection for minor drops and and mishandling

Love this case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These cases are amazing. And that extra pencil holder should be a standard feature. Try holding these iPads in portrait mode with the pencil stored on the charging side.

This is bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this because apple cases are not protective at all, and because i dont wanna lose my pencil and this was the only one with the ability to support the pencil 2 magnetic charging feature (who would want to take out the case every time they need to charge the pencil, right?). As stated in other comments the slot for the pencil charging has been cut with a tramontina dented knife. But thats not even my biggest worry. What ifound terrible about this case is the fact that as soon as you open the cover the whole thing flaps around like you re ready to use it as a stand, and not a folio. There is no magnet on the back to keep the folio cover opened without the whole thing flapping all over. Messy. Poor design.

Protects well

This is a Recalled Case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this case and it does not work with an iPad with a screen protector. And the cut out for the pencil looks like it was done with a box cutter, very poor quality. I contacted UAG and they said that all those cases have been recalled and they should have never hit the shelves. UAG also stated that they have not even released the case for the 3rd gen IPad Pro 12.9. I don’t recommend this case at all until the real one gets released.

Does not fit with HD Glass protector
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 2nd Gen iPad Pro died and I had a UAG protector on it with no issues. Bought the 3rd Gen iPad and can't use the case on all four courners with a Glass HD screen protector. There is not enough room between the iPad and the case for the screen protector, so I have two of my sides off. In case you are wondering, Geek Squad installed the protector and set it in the case.

Broke withing a month of having this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really disappointed, because this case broke.. the front cover and back separated, and I dropped my new ipad, Thank goodness it didn't break. However, the company is not honoring their warranty, and will not replace it. So, I am out for a case that is broken and won't fold over to protect my expensive ipad pro. Its in two pieces.

Absolutely horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this case for the iPad Pro 3rd gen. This is absolutely the worst case I’ve ever dealt with. The retaining tab is designed to be kept in place with a magnet but it flopped all over the place. The actual cover is very weak and flimsy which made me feel as if I was going to drop my iPad and last, the built in stand come loose and wouldn’t snap back into place. This happen twice, once in bestbuy and then again with the one I purchased. In an effort to ensure it wasn’t all in my mind, I had my wife to use the iPad with the case and she became irritated almost immediately. I really liked the look of the case but the functionality is extremely lacking. After using this case all of 10 minutes, I packed it up and returned it immediately to bestbuy. Please stay away from this case. I would rate this case .5/5 if possible. I end up ordering an otter box defender. It’s a bit heavy but my iPad is completely enclosed and protected.

This case has been discontinued and replaced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new model number is 121396114040. Notice that the fifth digit is a 9 instead of a 6. The new case is better.

Don’t buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything about the case is great except the way the cover attaches to the case. It’s very thin plastic that breaks which essentially renders the case worthless as the cover does not stay attached. I’ll never buy anything from them again.
