    This has been working great since I tend to fall asleep listening to a video, and the iPad will sometimes fall on the floor. The case protects it really well. The floor is carpeted so I'm not sure how this would do on a tile or wood floor.

    So, yes, it does fit the 9th gen iPad. But that's about it. It's weirdly over built in some spots, but then has awkward cutouts in other spots that aren't comfortable to use. You really have to force the tablet into it because the rubber isn't that forgiving in a way where you feel comfortable to overlap the edges. Bought it so I could have it in a case, and almost immediately returned it.
