I originally purchased this as a gift and tried it out before I wrapped it up - great sound, very clear, easy to use. Sounds like a Bose speaker. I liked it so much I went back and bought myself two of them! These can pair with each other (actually you can pair several) and the sound is great. Lasts hours on a single charge.

Have had many bluetooth speakers over the last five years ranging from the Jawbone Jambox, the JBL Charge 2, the Fugoo XL, and now the UE Boom 2. The JBL Charge 2 was my favorite of the bunch so far. I purchased the UE Boom 2 due to some recommendations from friends and family. All of my family members have a UE Boom, and although I have the newest iteration of the speaker, I am looking forward to getting them all hooked up together for a multiple speaker pairing. The speaker really performs best when in a higher spot than when on the ground. It works and sounds great on the lake and in the shower. The technology is improving and one of the best features any of these speakers is their ability to be waterproof. I urge any of you interested in bluetooth speakers to stay away from the Fugoo brand. Had mine for one month, my daughter placed it in the tub, even with the seal, it quit working. Contacted their customer support, speaker was replaced within three weeks with a refurb speaker. That speaker lasted about two weeks and set off a high-pitched noise that would not stop at maximum volume. I could not turn the speaker off and the battery was freshly charged. Long story short, after three shots with a 9mm, it quit, and my $300 loss was placed not-so-delicately in the trash. If I could recommend any bluetooth speakers it would be the UE Boom 2, UE Megaboom, JBL Charge 2 or 3, or the JBL Xtreme.

I have the orig ueboom speaker and bought 2 of the new ones and these sound even better and last longer than my orig 1. No need to say it but I love them

Best speaker I’ve ever purchased. Don’t let the size fool you- this will fill an entire room or backyard with great sound. The battery life is great- I went all day on a canoe trip blasting 80’s rock and it didn’t need a charge. Never mind the fact I dropped it in the creek several times with no issues.

i think this is the best value speaker out there. Paid about $85, and the sound is great. I most like the balance of the speaker and the strong bass.

Did a lot of research before i committed. Glad I made the right choice. Love the 360 degree range, slick design and its water proof...JUST AWESOME!!!

This is a great portable speaker! The battery life is long, the sound is unexpectedly better than some other well known brands. It is super easy to connect. I take mine to the studio and use it for several hours a day, my clients love the sound it puts out. I will purchase additional speakers of this model and recommend it to anyone looking for a great little indoor/outdoor portable speaker.

An awesome product. These speakers are loud enough to play music in a commercial kitchen and yet subtle enough to clearly listen too in a small room

Best Speaker I have ever purchased, listened to music on and used! Very easy to use and sounds Amazing!! We put it in the sink under water and it still sounded great! Worked perfectly too! We carry it to the beach and sit it in the sand all day listening to it. The battery charge last a very long time too. This speaker did not disappoint in any way!

The speaker is good for the size and I am overall happy with it. My sister likes it as well. Not as good as my klipsch gig but still good enough!

This speaker has it all: but at the core, great battery life, and incredible sound. Best speaker you can buy when thinking about price and value.

the UE2Boom sounds fantastic for its size. bass sounds great for such a smaller speaker. if your looking to use outdoors this speaker is a winner.

Are others better sounding?.... I'm sure. Are others better designed?... probably. Is this the best value of all of them?... Absolutely. Sound quality is great, Battery life is excellent. And on top of it, to have a speaker that is waterproof and impossible to hurt is as good as it gets. Also, fits perfectly in a water bottle pocket... I'm just sayin.

It’s super loud and the bass is amazing if you want a loud speaker with amazing bass this is the one for you it fills my whole house with noise

I absolutely love this speaker it's definitely louder than I thought it was going to be. the bass is incredible for being such a small speaker.

Really like this bluetooth speaker, a lot of sweet features to it plus it looks great! The only problem is that I couldn't connect my HTC phone to it but my old LG and my girlfriend's LG phone could no problem, maybe because LG owns Ultimate Ears aka UE. Love it though!

These speakers are the best. They have an awesome sound! They really are waterproof. The first time I heard them was underwater at the river.

Initially, we were not shopping for this brand. We were set on another speaker, but there was a rep on hand that answered our questions. He did not persuade us from buying the others, but he showed us the pros and cons. But this is a great speaker and waterproof--not water RESISTANT. That was a huge sell b/c we have kids. It is an easy carry and great sound.
