Great for listening inside or outside the house. Plenty of volume to fill the room with rich sound Easy Bluetooth connection

The UE Boom speaker is great for all ages. It is tough, portable, and best of all delivers clear sound wherever you use it. To date, we have purchased three of them -- one for ourselves (age 70+), one for our son (age 45+), and most recently one for our granddaughter (age 17). We all love it!

Bought this speaker around Christmas time while it was $65. This speaker is like 10” inch and 3” round but packs a powerful punch! Easy Bluetooth connection and functions. Plus it’s waterproof so why not!? Puts off good bass! And really clear audio even on MAX. Should have been 2 or 3.

We have had this speaker for a couple of years and it’s still a staple in our house. The size is amazingly small and portable for the dynamic sound quality it pumps out - rich, full, clear tone with good bass. I’m an audiophile and appreciate good sound. It also fits nicely in the cup holder of your vehicle.

Boom has the ability to play more than 1 speaker so adding another one. We Love this speaker great sound quality & volume!

The speaker works very well with my HTC phone. App is good, sound is great, and portability and size are perfect. I toss it in my suitcase or duffle bag when traveling. Battery life is great too. No need to bring charger on a weekend trip. Debated between this and megaboom but went with this on sale, not disappointed.

Boom 2 has great sound especially when tweaking the eq settings through the phone app. Really long battery life makes it great for taking with you. Wish it had a little more bass but the sound is really clear and can really fill the room.

UE puts out quality stuff...it's mostly relative to the price point. Is it the best I've ever heard, no. Is it the worst, no way. battery life is decent and all around sound is good. get it on sale and its a good buy.

I bought an original UE Boom a couple of years ago and loved the design and sound of it. But recently it went missing. After searching the house we decided it had accidentally fallen into a waste basket near where we kept it and we didn't realize it till after we had emptied the basket. (I think I also lost one of my daughter's first shoes that way but I haven't told her that). Anyway, our first BBQ of the season was coming up and I had to get a new one. That's the UE Boom 2. It's the same size as the old one but the sound is even better and I can control the volume thru the UE Boom mobile app and the unit itself has upgradeable software which just recently added the ability to control the speaker by voice command. I had a minor problem with the speaker after the last update (trouble pairing another phone to the speaker ) and their support was great, fixed the problem in 5 minutes (Just had to reset the speaker by pressing the power and volume down buttons at the same time) and they even followed up twice to make sure everything was ok. All in all, great looking speaker, great sound, great service. And not expensive (Best Buy has it on sale once in a while but it's a bargain even @ $200)

So far it has worked great with all my devices. Great sound, water and drop proof. I would recommend this for purchase!

I looked at several Bluetooth speakers including Boze & JVC. This one had the best sound and durability for the price.
