Bluetooth works as it should. I use this while camping it's a durable product and can hang easily from a tree branch. The sound quality is good for my needs, easy listening.. BJF

This is the smaller of the two models. The advantage is portability, although the larger one of course projects a more robust sound. Stir, this is much better than the MiniJamBox I purchased first. I’ve since purchased this model for my sister to use at the beach. It’s sand proof!

This speaker puts out. I love it's portability and it's big sound. I compared quality and price when shopping for this product. For the money, this Bluetooth speaker is a winner. Also waterproof. Great around the pool or the lake. Especially like the little hook on top of the speaker for hanging.

I have been in love with UE's sound for 2 years. I'm one of thise people who take forever to buy new tech for myself. This defintely did not disappoint. Only one slight issue the bluetooth button is sometimes hard to navigate but I'm already paired, only irritates guests!

Highly recommend this compact, sleek yet powerful speaker. Long battery life and great sound. Was debating between this one and similar JBL speaker. So glad I went went the UE Boom!

This Bluetooth speaker is supposed to be one of the best. This was bought for a Christmas present so we will see if it is drop proof and waterproof as it says. My sister recommended the UE speaker so I definitely hope it lives up to the hype. I will update if it does not.

I purchased this last year, and was really impressed by the sound this thing produces.. it really packs some punch !! But when we took it to the beach on vacation, that´s when this bad boy proved it self. The long battery lasted more than the entire day at the beach, It fell into the sand and even got all splashed from sea water, it really does what is advertised,... I love this speaker, I will purchase another so I can have two working in stereo mode...

Had a couple of the cheaper wireless speakers in the past and they got the job done. Recently told that these were excellent for the price so I decided to take a risk and get one. Needless to say, I am impressed by the quality difference between this and the cheaper ones you can get from Anker. If you are still on the fence about UE or any of the cheaper brands...spend a little extra and get this. Worth it in the long run.

This is one of the best choices for a feature packed bluetooth speaker on the market. Clear highs, decent mids, and punchy mid-bass well suited for hip-hop/rap, R&B, rock, EDM, and general pop. This new speaker is also waterproof (IP67 rating), drop proof, and NFC for pairing to Android devices. There is also an app to enable the equalizer, remote on/off function, and Double Up - two UE Boom devices can connect together to play stereo. Overall, a worthy speaker, but maybe not too worth it for current 1st generation UE Boom owners. The sound quality is very good for it's size, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy.

So I bought the speaker to have at my swim team practices. It's loud enough for the kids to hear it and with the easy to use app and Bluetooth connection, it makes for an enjoyable practice for me and the swimmers. The only thing I would say that's negative is the battery doesn't last as long as projected.

I looked at several different Bluetooth speakers for sound quality, loudness and battery life and for the money the UE Boom 2 was the best. It's small and compact but big sound!!!

For being one of the smaller bluetooth speakers, this items has great sound quality and volume. Big bonus that it is also waterproof and has good battery life.
