This speaker is just GREAT! It has absolutely incredible sound for a speaker this small. Me and my nephew had a contest this weekend, his Bose Soundlink Mini vs. my UE Boom 2. The sound contest was a draw, but the ruggedness and waterproof abilities of the Boom 2 tips the scale in its favor. My nephew is now purchasing one for himself. Let's be clear, this is not a high end home stereo system with a million watts and 50 inch woofers, but for hanging by the pool or grilling outside, it is hard to beat!

So I just bought this during a last minute emergency. I needed a waterproof speaker to go toobing down the Guadalupe river including rapids. The sound was amazing - we got several comments from strangers about the amazing sound. BUT- it died within 2 hours- we are usually in the water for about 5-8 hours. Their claim on life of the battery is actually based on LOW volume. We were blasting it the entire way- which drains the battery quicker- another group on the river told me they had the same speaker and it died quickly as well- he was pretty upset. SO- if you aren't in water and can charge it, I do recommend the UEBOOM2. BUT for everything I need it for (ALWAYS IN WATER- NO OUTLETS), it's really inconvenient. The claims on the wireless range- are tested and true!! There seem to be EXTREME pros and cons with all the waterproof speakers- not sure if I will return it yet. I will research SOLAR powered battery packs/charging packs to see IF I find something waterproof. If I do, then I will keep it.

The sound on these speakers are great, produces loud sound that can be heard throughout the room and provides decent bass for its size. I also use this while snowboarding and it has gotten wet and taken a beating and still functions great. I love the nfc pairing ability and the option to link it to other booms. Only thing for me would be its price point. At it's "sale" price, I would say it's worth it, but not for it's original MSRP.

This is a great speaker. Rugged enough to be waterproof and sounds great. Easy to use and take with you anywhere!

Bought this Bluetooth speaker for around the pool to replace old wired speakers. The sound is amazing; rich/full with ample volume. The app is handy for EQ adjustments. My son already bought one and is happy with it. My coworker also plans on buying one for outdoor/pool use. I'd absolutely recommend this speaker.

UE Boom 2 sounds great and has pretty good battery life. Very sturdy!

I recommend this speaker to everyone that's looking for a stylish and powerful in a small package. My husband and I both have one each and depending on what we are listening to, we are able to link speakers together for a more powerful and amazing sound

I bought this speaker from Bestbuy 15 days back. UE boom2 is good and water proof. Pros are Good sound and loud enough to fill living room Water proof D mount Mobile app Cons Round shape chances of falling from table Lack of BASS compared to JBL App is not great but ok No power charging indicator or battery level indicator on device Volume button design is not great Tap function some time not work I have JBL charge2 / Harman Kardon/Bose/insigna/ UE boom 2

Originally, I purchased the megaboom however it was to big for my preference and opted out to buy this boom2 speaker instead. I was immediately impressed by how powerful this little thing was and the portability makes it an extra plus. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

had heard the speaker and liked it but wanted to do more research on them on line i seen that they could be paired to play in stereo that picked up my ears. I was almost sold on another brand till i found out you can pair them as speakers or connect several of them together. I think went and listened to the one i was interested in and the UE boom 2 and seemed to think the sound was getter then the brand i thought should be better and was only going to buy one and get one later but they were on sale so i bought two of them and its amazing to here them in stereo and the sound is very good much better then the one i was going to originally by (which everyone one assumes is the best). I bought them to use on my patio and around the house and a few other places Although I just bought them only a few days ago i think there great. One of the best purchased i made. I would love a few more to have music in every room of my house.
