I bought my two weeks ago and the volume it just great, i love it. The my con is that it says 15 hours of battery on full charge, that the reason i bought it in the first place, mine with full charge only last like 4 hours or less. My question is, is mine defective? Do i need to call to get it exchange?

Got two of these UE boom 2 speakers. First the good. They have great sound. Very impressed with the sound. Now the bad. First of all their app absolutely stinks. Tried to double up both speakers which worked one day then poof it disappeared. Took forever to party up the two speakers which worked good. Then after enjoying good music for three hours poof the first speaker already needed charged. WHAT? Then after 5 hours the second one died. Tried charging three different times and it did the same thing. Then sinked them to my dish Network receiver and they echoed back and forth. What a disappointment. So... they're going back!

After 2 year or so it starts to be quiet. When I first got it. The speaker was very loud now it’s a third as loud as it used to be. But this is a good cheap speaker for people who like to listen to music and sit in your room

After seeing all of the positive reviews, I bought this speaker to use at work. I was blown away by the sound quality and easy of use/setup. That's where the positive ends. I bought it with hopes it would last through an 8 hour work night, since it claims to have "up to 15 hours" of play time. Pffft...not even close. I started at 100% charge at 2:30 pm, and by 5:00, I was at 48%, and by 7:00, it was completely dead. So dead it shut itself off! Seriously bummed about this, because it sounds so good when it is playing, it just doesn't last nearly as long as I was led to believe it would. Will be returning this as soon as the store opens tomorrow.

I am happy with this purchase and enjoy using it and recommend it to others.

Purchased 2 for the patio, on03/08/2017,spent 3.5 hours down loading app and update. Speakers did not pair as advertised. When they did pair up the volume decreased by 30 %, and within 5 minutes one speaker would shut down. For the price these speakers should be connect and play, they are not. No directions in the box. Great idea, poor developmental and just slightly above average sound. Compared side by side with another outdoor bluetooth speaker that was connect and play and user friendly. Volume compareable, sound close enough for 1/3rd of the price only drawback cannot pair 2 speakers together. OH YEA cannot pair 2 of these together either. The speaker appears to be well built and sturdy just does not work as advertised will return on 03/09/2017

Like the speaker and the waterproof factor! Not quite as loud as expected and battery dies much quicker than advertised.

Went with the cheaper one but sound was not as great as this one...bit pricey but got it while it was on sale. So far it's done it's job

The speaker gets 4.5 stars, but Best Buy disappointed for not honoring their own price match. Paid $149.99 for the speaker, Best Buy lowered it to $129.99 and would not credit the $20 to me because speaker is sold out. So basically, have to return speaker and purchase at a different store. You just lost a customer!

I would NEVER buy UE Again!! I write a lot of positive reviews and I loved my UE Booms when they first came out (I bought THREE of them!) BUT... after a year, when they pushed an upgrade of their software, I could no longer connect them with their software. They took away the ONE feature that I bought them for - a portable mulitspeaker stereo system for the outside. Their tech support in INDIA took hours to tell me that- because they pushed a downgrade to their BOOM APP, I could no longer do what I purchased these now worthless lumps for, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to find anyone to speak with at UE in the USA. Forgive me, but a company that purposely downgrades their apps, which removes features from products REMOTELY will never get another penny of my money. LOGITECH owns UE. Someone at one or both of these companies, planned and rolled out this upgrade. This was a human decision to downgrade everyone's speakers remotely -without knowledge or approval. My opinion is 'Find another company that has some consideration for their customers!'

The sound is easily comparable to Bose. Unfortunately the blue tooth connection cuts in and out and the battery life is only half of what was described. Was very disappointed.

Boom 2, water spilled on only part of it, charging and headphone port DID NOT get wet, speaker was immediately dried off. Now audio is distorted, customer service said they can't do anything with their product that is wrongfully advertised because it's past 2 years since purchase. Customer lost

I got this speaker thinking it would be better than the original UE Boom (which I currently have). Took it home; pair my ipod and have to say the sound quality is not the same as the original UE MEGABOOM. Ended up returning it in which I was not satisfied.

I purchased this hoping to get a high quality speaker after reading the reviews. I must say, I'm extremely disappointed. I removed the item from packaging and plugged it in to charge. The LED light blinked a few times and went off. Not sure what was going on, I left it plugged in. After a couple of hours, I went to use it. The power does not turn on. I went to the help forums and tried everything. I connected it to my computer as suggested and the same thing happens. I went to download the update but it keeps telling me to connect the speaker to the computer. I'm beyond frustrated and I have run out of options. I'm returning the speaker. You should not be expected to purchase something at this price only to jump through this many hoops in hopes to use it.

If you have a Samsung phone or tablet, we have 6, and like IHeart radio you should look elsewhere for a speaker! I have tried for month to get UE Boom, Iheart and Samsung to resolve the issue, they all acknowledge it exists, but can not or will not fix it. Basically, your favorites will not play sound continuously, sound will be heard for a single song at a time, but when it ends, the next song will "play" however NO sound will be heard. It can be corrected by pressing pause and then play, but who wants to be bothered by such an annoying glitch!

I purchased two of these for my wife for Christmas, with the intent to connect them in stereo. The app's "Double Up" function is missing, so we are unable to use the second speaker. Contacted Logitech support, and they were unable to help. Was told that the multiple speaker function of the app has a problem and is not working. They don't know when it will be fixed. Was also told that the stereo function will not be available when the app is fixed. I'm debating on asking for refund.

Its soo flat 808 hex is half the price and better sound quality
