I returned the JBL Charge 3 and purchased this for its portability. I pump it up when I play tennis and it can be heard audibly in an open court. The highs and mids are great. Vocals and instrumentals such as guitar are very pure and clear. The bass sounds lacking and unnatural (JBL Charge 3 definitely wins in this department). I love the little hook on top that you can attach to your backpack. Overall, I'd recommend it for it's volume, quality, portability and durability.

I heard a baseball sized Ultimate Ears at a family gathering. Sounded terrific for it's size. Especially when placed in a corner to project the sound omnidirectional. So I purchased this UE Boom 2. Very satisfied with the fidelity. Decent bass at reasonable volume. I'm a Jazz and Blues genre guy.

Great sound even at full volume! We bought 2 because you can sync multiple speakers and the price was great!

I don't yet know if this speaker is waterproof and shockproof as advertised, but it puts out a ton of quality sound. I cranked it up in the office on a Saturday (when the crowd was sparse) and an impromptu dance party broke out just outside my office.

I have owned many bluetooth speakers; this one is my favorite!! the sound is clear and loud with the perfect amount of bass! i love that it speaks to you when battery is low and the easy app to control it from! Definitely a good buy!!

This is my second UE boom and I also have a mega boom these are very nice speakers they get quite loud bass is pretty decent and extremely portable. They are water resistant as I left one out in a thunderstorm last year and it still works fine. You can use it for music or your cell phone Or anything else Bluetooth

I admit that I actually prefer the bass response of my Bose BT speaker, but I have to give the UE Boom2 the overall nod. It still has great sound, and can handle higher volume without distortion. Much better for outdoor use. And the app provides great convenience and some pretty nice features for dialing in the sound.

Absolutely love this speaker! Great sound quality. Sound fills up a medium sized room beautifully. Very easy to pair to phone. App is easy to use. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend!

This speaker has the best sound of any of the small handheld speakers I've heard.

Pros: -Good range in volume -Good bluetooth range -Easy to connect -Plenty of bass sounds Cons: -Sound quality is fair. The range from highs to lows is good, and the voicing is reasonable. However, don't expect this to be a high quality audiophile's dream speaker; it is heavily filtered and can leave you wondering where all the rest of the music is. Still, when playing music it can give a very nice playback for background or accompaniment for events, news, ball games, etc.

Sound quality good. Battery life good. Durability good. I think it's a little better than the Jambox. Better form factor.

I used to think this speaker was expensive, but compared to others, it is really not. Not to mention you can find many good deals on them now. But it is worth twice what I payed in terms of quality. It does what you would want a speaker to do, with clear accurate sound, while also looking good and being portable.

I love this Bluetooth wireless speaker. I’ve given them out as gifts and they all have loved it. The sound is awesome! It’s loud and clear when you play music or talk on it when a call comes in. I would highly recommend it.

Was ready to purchase a different bluetooth speaker when a UE rep. approached me and convinced me to purchase this which happened to be a Best Buy Deal of the Day. I am glad I valued his slaes pitch. It has amazing sound, charge life, and ability to sinc with additional speakers.

I like the speakers. There was a little issue to get two of them to sync up. But now all is well. I bought these based on reviews that they have a nice bass sound. I think that could be better but they do sound really nice. Placement will give you a better, full sound too. As I found out.

I bought this speaker for my boyfriend and he loves it! He works in a loud kitchen and the speaker is easily heard over the kitchen equipment and he doesn’t have to worry about getting it wet since it’s eaterproof! he’s had it for over 2yrs now and it still works and sounds great!
