Sounds great. Is absolutely waterproof. However, bass heavy songs were a little distorted and after about a month, the speaker started to die fast, cut in and out, and you couldn’t hear voice assistant or phone calls without disconnecting.

My first generation UE BOOM ran its course. I needed to replace the one I keep at work. I purchased other speakers (sony, JBL, bose) and returned them. Went back to UE Boom.

My husband got this speaker with T-mobile for a higher price and when we saw it was on sale for Black Friday, we went ahead and got another one because the music sounds just right. We take the speakers everywhere and they don't weight anything.

I love the sound, the design, colors and it is so light to take it with you anywhere.

Great speaker. Only issue was getting my IPad to sync with it. I spent two hours on the phone with Applecare helping. The Apple geek found an online blog that suggested holding the button down that sends the signal (next to the power button) for fifteen seconds. That works like charm. The directions tell you nothing about this.

Running two speakers with the boom app creates a fantastic stereo effect.

Went to Best Buy looking for a different wireless speaker and was introduced to the UE - Boom 2 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Phantom. Definitely the right choice!

Expensive unless you can find on sale. Sound great and good volume for a small speaker.

Love taking it to the pool and the beach. Sounds great and the battery charges fairly quick and keeps working for hours. I have two and they are easy to pair and play in stereo

This speaker is great when paired to your phone, volume and quality is absolutely there for a great price. That said when pairing to the computer the volume is controlled via computer settings and very low, definitely not what the speaker can do. Need volume control buttons on the speaker to increase sound past the capacity of a computer.

Yeah, so I was introduced to the UE speaker a few ago by my son. I was blown away with sound quality. It is an easy grab to take to the park, beach or wherever you may want some rhythms.

Had too get an extra one for my old lady...so she wouldn't feel left out

This has amazing sound, don't let the small size fool you. We have other products of this brand and are very impressed with the crisp sound quality. I would definitely repurchase this model for anyone in my family over any other well known brand.

This speaker sounds great and is quite loud. The waterproofing just makes this speaker more worth the money. It sounds better than many other speakers I have tried out and returned. Plus, if you have two of them, you can sync them together.

We needed some tunes outdoors and looked at all the available Bluetooth, WiFi and wired speakers. We decided on the Boom 2 because it met all of our needs. Purchased two and they work and sound great. Very happy with this purchase!
