Awful battery

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery doesnt last much, the sound is great, but I will recomend you to buy a power bank because if you are away from a power outlet, the speaker will be out in less than 4 hours.

Not What I Had Hoped For

Eventually I was swayed by pricing and styling to the Boom 2. I liked the app, made it easy to control volume and EQ, but that's the limit of the app. Being old fashioned, I still have an iPod Classic 160GB, and since it has more music than my phone I just used the aux. After the sound kept cutting out entirely, over and over, did some research- the aux port is nearly useless, and it's a known issue. Also, the bass is muddy, no punch, and doesn't have near the frequency response or clarity of the JBL Charge 3- slightly better high end, but not a huge difference. The small amount you'll save over the JBL isn't worth it. Just get the Charge.

this is an ok speaker

However it does not connect as well as I thought it should. Doesn't work everywhere in the house . But it does work in some windows so I kept it. Probably should have bought a better one.

Returned When Battery Stopped Charging

Up until then it worked okay. Never held a great charge and sound was decent- from my understanding most waterproof portable speakers inherently don't have the best sound.
