No, it doesn't have as much base tone as our Bose, but for the price and the purpose - it is a great buy and the sound is still very good when compared to others in this price range.

It's small so it's out of the way but sounds great! Pairing was easy and keeping it charged is simple. Great sound at a great price. Perfect for my needs.

If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest that you download Ultimate Ears' Boom app---available at Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Boom app will allow you to remotely turn on your speaker once you're within range---up to 100 feet away---and also allows you to customize the EQ settings to your liking. With the Boom app, you'll also be able to Party Up and pair to other Ultimate Ears Boom speakers (Boom, Boom 2, Boom 3, Megaboom, Megaboom 3, and Hyperboom) to really get things pumped up.
