When two are paired in stereo the sound is clearer and stronger than one speaker by itself. The downside is that when you "Party Up" multiple speakers then the sound is out of sync if you are watching videos. This syncing issue does not exist if you are using the Boom 2 singularly.

Bought two to pair....I prefer it single for when paired it separates the channels .I had hoped for full sound at different locations during a party. Loud sound when used with my ipad. Range great for blues, reggae soft rock,. Sound adjustments on app. Using app is best to pair. Get the colored ones more fun!
