We love this speaker. It can be hooked up to anything with WiFi. We currently have it connected to our turntable. We're looking forward to taking it out by the pool this summer.

Did the really like the fact the battery life was much less than expected. Showed 15 hours and nowhere near. Advise manufacturer to include much more in instructions and stand by them.

Works great in my wife's classroom for the kids. Also at home.

So far the mirror drive as worked as well as advertised. I still have not used all of its features but so far it is great. It should have better documentation and instructions.

I purchased this based on the good reviews, although I'd have to disagree with the majority. Mine is choppy in sound (no, it not my phone) and the battery is always dying. Plus I dislike the fact that you have to download an app, it's not just a simple Bluetooth hook-up.

I did countless hours of research, before I actually purchased the UE Boom 2, only for countless websites rating it as THE best portable bluetooth speaker. I bought it confident that it would blow my mind, but it did anything but that. The speaker was decently loud as far as portable speakers go, but had little to no bass. It would shut itself off and turn back on multiple times in a row, randomly while I was using it. I was still satisfied with it, until after charging and using it for a third time, it died after 3 hours of usage. It was fully charged, not sitting in the sun, and not even on full volume. This is coming from a speaker that is supposed to have "15 hours of life" (realistically it would be 9 to 10) but I couldn't get it to stay alive for longer than 3 or 4. Overall the speaker seems to have some sort of manufacturing issue, and I think there are better ones out there with better quality for the price than the UE Boom 2.
