Great sound and easy to use. I use these for my practices and the kids love the music. can be heard from a good distance and easy to pair to other UE speakers. Good battery life also

Great speaker good price! Travels well, use for my patio and sounds great

It's pretty loud and clear with great sound. I compared this with the Sonos Play-1 and Bose SoundTouch 1 (which cost at least twice as much - got this for 70 bucks during Black Friday) and it wasn't far behind, if at all. I haven't had this long enough to test out the battery life, though. Additionally, if waterproofing is a important criterion for you, look no further!

This speaker sounds great for its size. I love that it tells you how much battery power you have left, so you know before it just dies on you. The oversized volume controls are nice and add an element of design to the speaker. Bluetooth connection is easy as well.

I love the 360 sound and the quality of the sound that comes out of this speaker. I also like the size of the speaker and the volume it has without distortion. I also like that it is said to be completely waterproof since I will be taking it on my boat.

Definitely a little of potential here. After a full charge (didn't take too long), we tried it out and was pleasantly surprised by the volume and bass relative to its size. Thought about getting another one to link them together for even better sound. Very portable and the sound can fill a regular room. Didn't have to download the app, but could see where the added functions would be nice too.

Picked up the UE speaker after a friend's recommendation. The sound quality presented from this tiny speaker is remarkable. The included charging cable is a joke, but any micro USB cable will charge it. The Bluetooth works great from my tests at 15 feet with no discernible quality losses. The UE Boom app makes tethering multiple speakers together a piece of cake.

I have now purchased four of these speakers, two for myself and two for my son. You definitely will want two of these because they can be linked and the improvement in sound is great. I got all of them at far less than the retail price, about half on average.Battery life is great and the batteries can be replaced. Sound is very good for their size. UE makes a larger speaker with better sound but that defeats one of the best quality of these speakers, their portability. They are also very rugged which encourages you to throw them in you backpack or take to the beach. I tried a well rated JBL unit at first and while impressed with its slightly better sound and its even smaller size discovered it to have a defective speaker. It also appeared less rugged. I am very happy I exchanged it for these.

I have owned the UE Wonderboom for several years and have been very happy with it. The Boom 2 is basically the same high quality speaker in a smaller (cupholder friendly) package. The Boom 2 is not quite as loud as the Wonderboom, but I have rarely turned either of them beyond 70% volume level. The fact that I can use the UE app to broadcast to both of them at the same time is a great feature. This is a tough little speaker as well. It fell from the top of my refrigerator onto a concrete floor (a six foot drop) this weekend. It bounced a few times and I noticed the top slightly separated from the unit. I popped it back into place and the speaker never skipped a beat.

Very durable, sound is great and battery life lasts longer than it advertises

I just bought a Megaboom but I wanted something smaller and more portable. This speakers is just as amazing as the mega. The only difference is not as much bass but the sound quality is amazing! Its good if you don't want to spend the money on the mega. It's just as durable and waterproof as the boom. Great speaker! Great gift ideas!

Great sound blue tooth wireless also water proof can’t go wrong

I bought this on sale because I had wanted a Bluetooth speaker for a long time. The UE Boom 2 is great. I use it in the shower because it's water proof, barely ever have to charge it, and it sounds really good and can get fairly loud

Very tough and very good sound and battery life and durability

Very good volume and clarity. Good bass. Long lasting battery.

Speaker has great sound in a small package. Advantages include being waterproof. Didn't worry about taking it with me on a golf outing knowing there was rain coming. Battery only lasted nine holes, we're considering it was at full volume, LOL, did great. Used back up power source to continue!
