I bought this speaker as a gift, as I already own one. This is one heck of a speaker. Power is strong - enough to use outside, and sound quality is very good for a single speaker. But my favorite thing about this speaker, is that it is waterproof. Not waterproof in the sense that it goes in the shower with my everyday, but waterproof in the sense that I accidentally dropped it in the lake. ONE hour later I was able to retrieve it 15 ft. off the bottom of the lake and it still works as good as new.

Superb sound, great bass and pleasantly portable. I'm satisfied with punch for the price. The play time is overrated and two and a half hours to recharge leaves a long void.

This is really a great speaker. Nice clear sound and enough volume to fill the room. I love that it’s waterproof as well.

Purchased speaker on sale. After reading other reviews, it seemed decent enough to give it a try. This replaced a much cheaper Bluetooth speaker, which did serve me well in my home office for the price I paid for that one. I must say that the sound on this speaker is much better and has far better options than my previous speaker. The battery life is far greater as well, and I can check on the battery charge remotely through the app or directly on the speaker itself. I particular like the app and the ability to power on the speaker remotely if it has powered off (from when I take a call during the day and the sound then transfers to the phone). My only criticism so far would be that I wish it allowed a little more customization of the equalizer settings other than the preset options. I have not tried the linking feature yet (think its called 'Party-up'), so I cant comment on that, but I suppose it would be pretty cool if I had other speakers. That said, one by itself is pretty loud. For the quality, price, and other options, I would recommend this product vs other comparably priced speakers.

We purchased this just to keep in the kitchen or take outside when cleaning cars or playing with the kids in the driveway. It's loud but the sound quality and clarity are just ok. Almost has to much bass and no way to balance out the highs and lows to suite a quality listening experience. We just wanted something durable and it's water proof. It does the job but probably not the best choice of you are looking for something that will wow your listening experience.

Got this for my gf to carry around the apartment. Thing sounds great and has some mean bass. Pretty fair price too.

This purchase was my second UE Boom speaker. Battery life and sound quality are both very good. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. The list price is a little high, but on sale for $100 is a great price point.

This is a great little speaker, portable, waterproof with great sound. Pairing with another speaker is a plus.

I purchased this so that I could use my ipod for teaching dance classes. This speaker delivers good base so hearing the beats in the music is easy for counting. I like the hard case so that I can throw it in my bag and know its protected. Has good sound and is loud enough to fill a large room or area outside.

The sound quality and volume are very good. It's easy to pair with a smart phone via Bluetooth. The range is pretty good;. Manufacturer reports up to 100 feet, which is smaller than my back yard. I was sick of the $50 and under price point speakers so I researched this on line and decides to spend a little more and My 14yr old is very happy. The speaker is loud with great sound and no distortion. The quality is the best I've seen. Water proof and Shock proof and he can leave his I pad in the garage and have his speaker in the back yard no mater what the weather in. GREAT SPEAKER!!

this speaker blows away any speaker i,ve owned before the sound is great and the bass is just right with no feedback the price is reasonable and i can fill up an entire room with music and not have it on its top volume. i would recommend this speaker for anyone who wants a good top of the line bluetooth

I purchased this speaker based on the price and reviews and was not disappointed. I had also purchased 2 UE boom speakers and was disappointed that they could not be paired with this speaker.

I purchased this item after a friend recommended it to me. It's small but it's sound is powerful and strong. It's easy to use and can be paired with another Ue Boom speaker for double the sound. The battery life is durable and you can download the app to install updates to your Ue Boom via your phone.

The only speaker I have ever owned is UE. I played other brands in store before ordering online. The sound is awesome. This Boom 2 was reduced to an excellent price. My first UE lasted 5-6 years, but the charge connector got messed up, somehow.

The UE BOOM 2 is louder than the original UE BOOM. It is a small and portable speaker with an amazing output of sound quality.The battery really does last several hours before needing charged. I have gone weeks without charging it, and it will have plenty of power when I'm ready to use it.

This is the third 4th UE Boom I have bought. This one is just a gift but is the third UE Boom 2 I have bought. I believe that if you can find them on sale the are still the best wireless speakers you can buy. I bought my firsts one probably 5 years ago and i still going strong. The play time is excellent and the sound quality is above average. There is a reason this speaker has only needed small upgrades in half a decade.
