This year Boom 3 improvements has made it my favorite speaker that title was previously held by the JBL Charge 3. One thing that I noticed this year model is bass is deeper but still one notch below the JBL Charge 3 but the clarity of they sound is the difference maker for me. JBL charge 3 sounds good but compared to the Boom 3 the vocals are much more clearer. Music just sounds much more nicer on the Boom 3. Another plus is the ability for EQ settings from the App to customized the sound of your music. Overall i'm impressed with the Boom 3 and highly recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for! Loud enough for my space, perfectly portable and holds a decent charge. My only complaint is that this newer version doesn’t come with the charging plate like the previous speaker did, it needs to be purchased separately.

I love my boom! I have an earlier version but this speaker has gone camping, drunken tubing, and international travel. Speaker is loud enough for parties and the sound is great. The only wear is the color changed from black to more like gray, but the sound is the same as the day it was gifted to me.

Just bought and will not stay charge for nothing at all!

The previous model sounds better! I tried adjusting to different audio selection but was not impressed.

it can't be used with another boom speaker using a mac computer. you have to use your cell phone and purchase a monthly subscription to iTunes even if you already have one on your mac..dont waste your money..buy Bose, I wish I had instead of the 2 booms I bought

I have always heard great things about the boom series of speakers. So, I was excited to give one a try and compare it to other speakers in its class. Let's get right to it. This speaker is loud, really loud, but loud does not always equate to better. The first thing I like to do is crank up the volume. With this speaker, out of the box, I noticed distortion and clipping at high volume. After tweaking the EQ within the app, I was able to correct most of the issue. Not all, but most. The bass is where I found most of my disappointment. I wasn't expecting room shaking thump, but being that the speaker is always advertised as the party starter, I was expecting a bit more bass than what was present. Even going into the EQ and turning up the bass all the way, it still seemed "hollow." The low end bass tones were decent, but the bass drums lacked any presence. This isn't terrible, but in comparison to other speakers, it was a bit of a letdown. On a side note, I did notice that placing the speaker on some non porous surfaces, like concrete, yielded a better result. As for the build of the speaker, it's top notch. it's sleek, durable to the point where I can just throw it in my bag and go, has great weight, and the IP rating is fantastic. Even in all of my tests, I had no problem with water. I also will add, unlike other speakers, the app really does add to the experience of the speaker. I was able to tweak a custom EQ to fit most of my needs. That typically is unlikely with a lot of speakers in this class. To summarize, while I feel this will be a great speaker to take to the beach, or hanging out by the pool, I can't quite say that it is the party starter that it is advertised to be. Perhaps the megaboom would more fit that description, but I have yet to test that model. Overall, I would still recommend this speaker to anyone who is interested.

The battery life is a joke 3 to 3 1/2 hours and it’s completely dead. Not worth having

I like using the speaker we have used it about three days and still have not charged it. We have used it maybe 4 hours a day. The tap feature is nice so you can set your place list with the boom app tap it and it plays automatically which is great so you don't have to search around. The speaker fills the whole room with sound and having it paired with Alexa is nice when playing music. I would like to get another one to try the party mode and see how that works but the one speaker does enough to fill the wholebroom

The box says it gets 15 hr battery life which is an absolute lie. You’re lucky to get 3

This speaker has become my new favorite speaker! It is small but gets very loud. Does distort at higher volumes but I rarely use it that loud. Has 360 sound and is ipx7 rated and drop proof according to Logitech/ UE. It doesn't have that booming bass like the name would suggested but it is tight and doesn't get messy. has the normal play -pause buttons and volume as well. It has this button they call the magic button which works with their app but I am not sure what it does since I don't have any use for it.

I've heard much better speakers for the price. Highs are not too great. Not crisp.

Best speaker. No distortion of sound. Fits perfectly in the water bottle pocket of a backpack. Extremely durable. Water proof, floats, and be connected to other speakers

This thing really has it all, and the sound is great. I love the minimalist look and feel, plus it floats and it's waterproof.

Very good quality speaker. It is very small in size an could easily fit in hoodie pocket or a backpack. You could conveniently attach a lanyard and hang it around your neck off to the side

I bought it on discount, so I think the speaker it’s good enough for the price I paid. It’s durable and resistant. I dropped it a few times and it’s still free of scratches and works perfectly fine. The battery lasts enough, I only have to charge it once per week.

This item does what it says it does but I think that there are some aspects that could have made it much better. You use the app to connect via bluetooth and it connects easy, as well as the instructions being easy to understand. The music quality is good and the volume buttons on the device is nice. A lot of my problems with it actually have to do with the app. First, there is something called one touch which can be used to go directly to your playlists. However, it is only available in the native app on my iPhone. I don't use the Apple library for most of my music and so this feature is of no use to me. It would be great if I could choose any music app on my phone for this feature. Second, I also dislike that there is no widget for the app. Third, within the app I cannot control the music that is playing. If I want to lower or increase the volume and choose to do it through the app I can do that. But if I want to pause or skip to a different song by using my phone I have to go into the music app I use. While this may not be a huge deal to some people, I prefer to be able to control the music from within the same app. Overall, a good item but it could be so much better if the app was better.
