Leaves a lot to be desired

I've gone through 3 of these and still disappointed. At low volume it's okay, but anything past 50% and its scratchy and the bass sounds broken.

Wasted Money

She tried everything to get it to work and nothing was successful. Of course, it can’t be returned to Best Buy because it is greater than 90 days from the original purchase date. A complete waste of money!

Often times, issues like this can be resolved by making sure the speaker is up to date using the free Ultimate Ears app. Otherwise, you do have a 2 year limited warranty that comes with purchase that can be used to have the battery replaced. Posted .Hi Jason, Very sorry to hear about the issue you had with the Boom 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker sounding terrible. Have you downloaded the Ultimate Ears Boom app? Not only will this help make the speaker sound better by allowing you to adjust the EQ. More importantly, when you initially begin using it with your speaker, it will upgrade the firmware to your speaker. Another thing you can do is check your phones audio settings. If that doesn't solve the problem, Ultimate Ears does have a 2-year limited hardware warranty for the Boom 3. Posted .Hello, I am sorry if there was any confusion regarding this speaker. You will need to press the Bluetooth button that is located on the top of the speaker so it will go into discover mode for other devices. Press and hold the Bluetooth button until you hear the pairing tone and then it will be available to other devices for pairing. I hope this helps!
