Worthless after update. Won't reset won't connect.

I completed the software update on the app about 2 weeks ago and the speaker now does not work. It won't show up on blue tooth, it won't factory reset by holding volume down and power. There is no aux input so the speaker is basically useless. $200 down the drain. Be careful.

You do have a 2 year warranty that you can file a claim for to get a replacement sent to you since the it isn't responding anymore. No good.

Best Buy will not exchange or refund, company wants to charge an outrageous shipping fee to replace. Ridiculous. Stick with Bose or Sony.

Customer support can definitely get you a replacement speaker sent to you, but you will only have to pay the shipping cost and not the full retail price under the included 2 year limited warranty. However, the speaker died after 2 hours of playing music. Charging takes too long. I wish I could return or exchange for something better.

It’s loud, but very flat in sound. All the music is jumbled into the mid frequencies and goes high pitch when you crank it up. Returned it after two uses.

Posted .Hi! The Boom 3 also has the Boom app to be able to tweak the EQ settings of the speaker. But there is always the Megaboom 3 and the Hyperboom which definitely bring the bass! Not recommend

Not worth it. I have two Boom 2 and 3, both are terrible. Don't believe me? Just google "UE static sound." You might as well play sound from your phone, which has better quality.

UE Boom Defective

It paired one time and once I turned it off it will not pair anymore. i had been out of town and just now getting to where I can check ont his and now I have missed my return date. This is my second ue boom and which the other worked perfectly which is why I purchased another one. I am going to try to send to the manufacturer but I will no longer buy another UE Boom product.

Posted .Hello. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Boom 3. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues charging your speaker. When you plug the speaker in, does the white LED light blink next to the charging port? If it is not blinking, please try using a different power brick and be sure to use the cable that came with the speaker. If it is blinking, please leave the speaker plugged in overnight. Sometimes when the battery is drained completely, it takes a while for the charging to begin. If it is still not charging, you can start a warranty claim here: https://support.ultimateears.com/en/limited-hardware-warranty/
