The Hyperboom has great sound and volume. I have had one for several years and added this ne as a second. It paired up with the original very easily. Unfortunately, there was static even when bothered units were within four feet of each other. I returned it as when paired with my original connection was unreliable. I was disappointed because I am thrilled with my original. It’s a shame the static and inconsistent connection ruined the experience.

This thing rocks. Great features, as well. You can hook up two different Bluetooth devices, plus optical. It's big, and a bit heavy. It's got a nice sturdy handle to sling it around. Also, a VERY long battery life. It's expensive, but worth it!

Great sound. Loud, clear and sharp. Excellent bass and perfect mid-tones. It fills your room up—no distortion at any volume level. This bass is way better than JBL, Bose, or any other brand! If you try it in a store you will not have any doubt at all.

Deep bass and crisp highs. Battery lasts at least 10 hours if you arent blasting it at 100%. I have two so when they are both on party mode I keep at about 60% and the speakers will go all day.

My son has had the smaller Boom for some time and it really sounded good so I thought I would get this one. Sound quality is great. Doesn't get overly loud but get's plently loud for our beach activity. I'd buy another one at this point (one month into it).

If you like big bass like me then you will like this speaker. To me the MegaBoom sounds louder which made me rethink but it had low to none bass and this one is the opposite Super Bass the only thing I don’t like is the price but was able to snag this on sale

Great sound quality. I knocked a star off for two reasons. The first is the price - you're definitely going to pay for the quality. The second reason is that when it's paired in party mode, it quite often desynchs or messes up. It's enough of an issue that I don't pair it with other speakers anymore, which is a bummer since that was one of the main reasons for getting it.

I was looking for a bit more bass but as far as performance the sound is super clear even when maxed out. The bass to size is definitely full and in no way underperforms. If you are looking for whole room sound this is definitely a great option.

Good bass tones high and super low. Clarity throughout every level of volume. Pairs perfectly with all my other UE speakers! The bass is really something to behold. Fills every room with studio quality sound that is unmatched by 98% of every speaker on the market!

This is one of the best sounding battery powered speakers, the bass powerful, the clarity crystal. I loved using this even as a soundbar for my tv. Trust me you have got to at least go to best buy amd listen to the Demo.

This is the perfect bluetooth speaker for both indoor and outdoor use. I'm impressed by how loud it is while retaining a quality sound. The high price point is justified by sound quality, portability, and long battery life. I prefer this over the comparable JBL options.

I have the UE megaboom but this speaker is worth the extra money. I’m able to pair both when outside by the pool. The battery life is great and easy to use. I’m a big music fan and this is perfect for bringing it to outdoor gatherings.

Great speaker, used it for a party and bought another one for my brother, connexting 2 of these together makes for some powerful beats. I plan on using it for my party graduation party

This thing is pretty loud clarity as well as bass.

Absolutely love the speaker and how it sounds. It is great beside our pool during parties or connected to our outdoor tv. I would say that its peak volume is slightly lacking but that is being critical. Overall it’s the best, splash proof, rugged, outdoor Bluetooth speaker you can buy.

Really really nice speaker! Great all around sound. I use this in my boat. Thinking maybe I should get one more for the other side of the boat! Charge last a long time while have sound pretty loud. The kids really liked be able to connect with their phones and play their songs.

I love them easy to setup and I bought the pair so I can have stereo But most of all they sound awesome compared to my 4,000 watts speakers my Ultimate Ears - Hyperboom Party speakers sound better. LOVE IT!!!
