This unit has plenty of bass and can get quite loud. The sound that you get out of it depends on the quality of the audio that is used. Better audio (higher bit rate) sounds better.

I have the UE megaboom but this speaker is worth the extra money. I’m able to pair both when outside by the pool. The battery life is great and easy to use. I’m a big music fan and this is perfect for bringing it to outdoor gatherings.

Good bass tones high and super low. Clarity throughout every level of volume. Pairs perfectly with all my other UE speakers! The bass is really something to behold. Fills every room with studio quality sound that is unmatched by 98% of every speaker on the market!

Absolutely love the speaker and how it sounds. It is great beside our pool during parties or connected to our outdoor tv. I would say that its peak volume is slightly lacking but that is being critical. Overall it’s the best, splash proof, rugged, outdoor Bluetooth speaker you can buy.

Really really nice speaker! Great all around sound. I use this in my boat. Thinking maybe I should get one more for the other side of the boat! Charge last a long time while have sound pretty loud. The kids really liked be able to connect with their phones and play their songs.

I love them easy to setup and I bought the pair so I can have stereo But most of all they sound awesome compared to my 4,000 watts speakers my Ultimate Ears - Hyperboom Party speakers sound better. LOVE IT!!!

Amazing Sound! Yes it’s a little on the bigger side and yes it’s got some weight to it, but the sound that comes out of it is well worth the trade off. Highly recommend!

I purchased the Hyperboom to use when we enjoy our hot tub. I already owned the Bose Revolve + , Sony SRS-XB43, Apple Home Pod's (2), Sonos Play 5 (2), and recently added the Sonos Move (2). The Apple Home Pods and Sonos Play 5's need to be plugged into an electrical outlet for power. After watching numerous positive reviews on Youtube I decided I was going to go with the Hyperboom or JBL Boombox 2. After a demo at the local Best Buy I purchased the Hyperboom. Once at home and setting up the Hyperboom and adjusting the EQ on the app for the Hyperboom the first thing my wife pointed out which I concurred with was the mids and highs of the Hyperboom was not crisp and sounded dull compared to the Bose and Sony aforementioned products. Where the Hyperboom excelled was in the bass and volume department. If bass and volume are most important factors you are looking for in a speaker then the Hyperboom would receive 5+ stars. Since returning the Hyperboom, I have since purchased a Sonos Move and we are both impressed with the overall sound quality compared. So much so I bought a second Sonos Move and now have them joined in stereo pair. The high's and mids are clear and crisp. The bass is sufficient but does not compare to the Hyperboom.

I got this speaker yesterday. It is an amazing speaker. The sound quality is amazing and the bass is so good. This is the second speaker I got from Ultimate Ears company. I love this speaker and it is worth every penny spent.

This speaker sounds great. Love it. I’m sure you can get a cheaper speaker with fancy little neon lights and lasers but you won’t get that nice deep bass like this speaker does.

There’s many options available at this price point and for cheaper; however, the speaker quality is phenomenal. It’s loud, does not distort, has user friendly interface with the app, and can be transported around without needing an outlet

This product is a great product because of the sound quality and the base has a lot of deep deep bass. Would recommend this product to anybody that loves good base

Purchased this speaker for the backyard to replace my smaller JBL that just wasn’t loud enough. Wondering why I didn’t upgrade sooner. Great sound and would recommend for your backyard parties.
