I have been working with the company trying to fix Alexa problem but so far no luck. You have to yell at the speaker to get Alexa to work, this is not what I paid for

About the only way I can get this to follow voice commands is to hold it inches from my mouth while saying “Alexa”. Otherwise it just sits there as I say, louder and louder each time, ALEXA! Pay attention! Can you hear me!?

Just bought to replace Bose speaker. Good sound but doesn’t hold a charge. When it charges it has to be in its side. Returning and going back to Bose

sound is great but randomly stops playing music when i get a notification, making me turn it off and reconnect, not sure if i got a broken one or if all of them do that

I bought this speaker because it's the only wireless speaker I could find that connects with Alexa. However, the microphone is so bad that Alexa barely works. I had to get down right on top of the microphone to get it to work. I've since read other reviews with the same complaint, so I'm not going to bother exchanging it. And without Alexa there are better, and certainly cheaper, options out there.

I like the speaker, but running the eq software it locks up in 1 setting, and cannot use the other settings, unless you turn everything off then back. Still no guarantees with that.

The battery life was atrocious. The range was decent but it would create this really loud, annoying sound when the battery was low.

EU Megablast is a very unique BT speaker with Alexa assistant. This device is WELL BUILT, heavy, and rugged. Pros: very clear sound huge battery power very good range for wifi and BT connectivity (perfect for backyard and garage work) water proof, pool proof, shock proof. Alexa assistant (need I say more?) Cons - as of now it supports only a limited music apps (no Spotify) - connecting to smart home devices is not so easy (had hard time connecting the megablast with my Phillips Hue home kits) - Bass on this device could be better for this price - the base that lets you dock the device while at home is an option at $40 and it comes in white color only. at the end I know for a fact that this device will last for years and survive a lot of parties/ camping, etc. the apps and Alexa support will hopefully get better with time.

Surprising amount of sound comes from the Megablast, but if you’re looking for high quality music reproduction keep looking. Alexa integration is better than average.

It's a good sounding speaker but you can get the same quality in a much cheaper speaker. I love Amazon Alexa but not all features are available on the Megablast.

UE took away features for a louder speaker and added Alexa. If you have music playing you’ll have to yell at the speaker for it to hear you. Battery life is average

This is my second Megablast, but for some reason it has a couple bugs not present with the other. For example, it sometimes powers up after shut down.
