    For the price the mega boom is okay. The battery life is not as advertised and the ‘magic’ button and power button can be a bit glitchy at times. If you’re going to have this as a stationary speaker I would recommend the MagSafe charger. But if you have it on the go make sure to bring your regular charger because it does die pretty fast at max volume.

    I purchased two Megaboom 3 speakers for the ability to link as many as you want. Tested them in store against the competitors and other than JBL having slightly more low bass, they are superb. Crystal clear sound even maxed out with no distortion and good 360 sound projection as well. Highly recommend!

    These speakers sound great but they are difficult to get two of them to work together which is what we wanted. If you just want one and don’t need to crank them up so the whole neighborhood can hear them, this is the speaker for you. They aren’t exceptionally loud but they were loud enough for us to use around our pool. Unfortunately, due to the connectivity issue and the continuous cutting out, we returned them.
