The Megaboom 3 is a fantastic portable Bluetooth speaker. While certainly not entry-level, I was shocked to get the sound quality I did out of a $200 unit - it seems on par with a stationary box twice as expensive. My favorite feature is the remarkable, rich sound quality. Streaming from my phone was as satisfying as it was easy - a quick pair results in deep, compelling sound. I love that I can put the speaker in the center of my small house and hear music throughout. While I haven’t taken the Megaboom 3 to the beach, I did dunk it in the tub for ten minutes - in both that full-immersion and separate splash test, the Megaboom 3 held up as advertised. I feel extremely comfortable exposing the unit to water. My one gripe - I wish that the shoddy Micro USB charging port was USB C. I can already see the port misaligning, and anticipate charging issues. Luckily, this is a UE unit compatible with the Power Up charging dongle (sold separately for an eye-popping $40.00). If the (ahem, when) Micro USB port fails, I can still charge the unit on the stand. All in all, a great buy. I’ll stick with UE for future portable speaker needs. I’m especially curious how the Megaboom 3 would sound daisy-chained with another (an advertised feature) Megaboom 3. UE, wanna hook me up?

I love the sound quality on the Megaboom 3. It was great to use on the beach. Did not have problem with sand getting on it. It is easy to pair with my phone or my iPad. The Bluetooth captures your device quickly. It did not get hot out in the sun even as mine is black in color.

My sister had a smaller version of this and it could get surprisingly loud for its size, yet still be faithful to whatever's being played. A friend had this one's predecessor and it survived the rigors of the beach well. I haven't tossed mine into a pool yet, but I trust its water resistance rating is well-earned. I was replacing an old JBL Pulse, which I loved, but I didn't use the light show as much as I used to and the battery capacity was starting to go. So for Christmas, I upgraded to the Megaboom 3 and I'm glad I did. Pairing has been easy (and I'm no fan of Bluetooth, based on my troubled experiences with such devices) and the controls are pleasantly tactile, if not well-labeled (not many buttons to keep up with on top anyway). It feels solid and the material is nice to the touch (some stuff just feels cheap, you know?) If you want a solid Bluetooth speaker that can get loud and still sound clear, you could certainly do worse than this model. I haven't yet had the opportunity to test the multiple speaker functions, but I'll certainly try it out when I have the opportunity.

The BOOM3 is really the best of everything. Its loud has decent bass waterproof floats and is really drop tough. I have been using these when I go kayaking camping hiking by the pool washing cars and just in the house. I have 2 of them and I play them together for great stereo sound. If you are looking for the best well here it is.

The Megaboom 3 has really good, clear sound. It does not have the very deep bass that bigger speakers might have but very satisfied. What I like most are the features: rechargeable battery or power cord, Alexa, and water resistant. Very easy setup and optional app. Well built, solid feel. Definitely recommend.

Almost perfect for my 300 sq ft garage especially at the price point. Pretty loud for a speaker this size and clear enough to hear a baseball broadcast while holding a practice session. Portable. Downside is charging is the older technology instead of USB-c.

We heard this speaker over the summer, loved the quality sound and compact size. Mainly using outside during jacuzzi time at night. GREAT sounding, waterproofing a plus for this environment. Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase and with Black Friday pricing, a steal! Highly recommend this speaker.

I purchased this BT Speaker based on the favorable reviews of a family member who has a previous generation UE device. In short, I am very pleased with my purchase. The cylinder design is simple, aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and will compliment most customers furniture and designs. The sound quality is great, although I would appreciate a little more bass out if it. The battery is rated to last 20 hours. While I haven’t actually calculated the battery life, it has lasted us a week of intermittent use. The device comes with a charging cord specific the itself. Wish it accepted or worked with a more common charging cable like one for an iPhone or Samsung phone. The app for this MegaBoom is easy to use. I can turn the device on/off from the app and it was very easy to pair our devices to this speaker! Would recommend!

Great sound, deep bass, user friendly, bought it to take paddleboarding and have found myself using it everywhere I go out during the day while working. Highly recommend

WOW! This is an amazing portable speaker. The sound is clear, the bass is deep and the portability is great. Just had my Ultimate ears speaker 2 just give out on us. Lasted us over 8 years with no issues. When never use any other brand. This thing is so good, I highly recommend it.

I had been eyeing this speaker for months, because a friend of mine had an older model. Buying this speaker was an AMAZING decision. I love the sound quality, how LOUD I can make it, and how I can bring it everywhere (even the beach as it's water proof!). I got it in my favorite color, blue. I highly recommend this speaker

Nice and loud indoors and great sound outdoors. Was not distorted at all when cracked all the way up and gives off a pretty good amount of bass. Used this at the beach and it really is sand/dust proof! Haven't used it on the water yet but I'm sure it'll hold up fine. Trying to convince all my friends to buy one so we can link them!

ever since I ordered my first one I have never boughten another brand or style. the quality is amazing it's loud enough to be heard with good quality. the battery does last long. i usually take it for the day. i have never had an issue pairing. its a great speaker

This is a very good speaker. The sound is good but not excellent. This is definitely worth the price I spent. This is a very loud speaker. It is durable. It is a heavy speaker. It is so heavy that it broke the inexpensive carabiner I had on my golf bag and fell from the golf cart. I had actually lost this and it was recovered two days later from the golf course thank goodness. So it is very durable and waterproof. THe only real complaint I have about this is that the range is not very good and gets disconnected when I am away from the golf cart. Also, even when close the signal gets disconnected. UE needs to work on this slight defect.

This thing is awesome. Puts out great sound whether in or outdoors. Decently waterproof, though I haven't tested it in extreme conditions. Holds battery charge for a good amount of time, especially if not being used at full volume. Does not take long to charge.

I bought two of these for my wife. She loves listening to music and wanted the ability to move the speakers around from room to room. These are fantastic. We aren't audiophiles, but the music sounds great and fills our house especially when paired together to create stereo with two.

I love this speaker. I had the old UE Boom 2 Speaker and its still kicking. The Megaboom 3 has more sound and the bass is stronger. I'm really impressed with the battery life. I was able to pair both together as well. Got it for a great price under $100 too.
