The value of this speaker definitely is much superior. I have had the speakers for a couple of weeks now and I am truly impressed with the sound.

I think the boom 3 is loader, but the mega boom 3 has more bass. Both are good speakers, just make sure you try it before you buy it.

I use 2 in steroe for my classic convertible and it is pretty good. If you're looking for larger sound def get the larger step-up speaker. The BOOM app is a little clunky to connect the 2 speakers.

I bought this back in August before returning. I compared with the comparable JBL and functionality seemed better and quality of sound was very close to the JBL. I just couldn't justify spending $200 for this quality. Once it hit black friday at a price of $100, it was a no Brainerd purchase.

I really like the app so I don't even have to get up to turn on the speaker, I just go to my app and turn it on. I would highly recommend this speaker. I am having fun with it.

I don't have to worry about water sprinkling on it or humidity when I use it in the bathroom when taking a shower. I also like the convenient button that allows me to skip forward or pause.

The app for this speaker is wonderful. The sound of the speaker is good and this might not be the most loud speaker out there but it is quality sound.
