    If you have a EQ on your phone it might be a little bit too much to bear bass distortion

    It's a good speaker. Great battery life, though I would prefer a bit clearer audio output (It seems to miss a lot on the treble side).

    For the money it’s the best I’ve tried. Enough bass to do the job at the pool. Tossed it in the pool and it floats!!!

    Works great at home, use it when sitting on the front porch, back deck. My girlfriend uses it work sometimes and it’s only ok, it’s not loud enough. But she still uses it.

    I am giving this speaker a 2 star rating because I spent a half hour comparing the sound between this and my boom 2 speaker which is half the size. The volume was almost identical, I actually think the boom 2 was louder than the megaboom which was shocking. The megaboom had a bit better bass, but nothing worth the upgrade at all. The features are better, but for just pure performance it is nowhere near being worth buying the speaker if you already have one of the regukar boom speakers.

    Bought the speaker to bring to work has good enough sound and gets fairly loud but the bass sound was under well meaning and you can’t skip songs at the speaker disappointing

If you haven't done so already, I suggest that you download the Boom app which will unlock more features for your MEGABOOM 3 like Party Up, Remote ON/OFF, Musical Alarm, and Customizable EQ. For more information about each feature, here's a link:  https://www.ultimateears.com/en-us/features/apps.html. One big thing initially that will be beneficial as soon as you download the Boom app is that it will update your speakers firmware. Hope that you found this helpful and that all is going well.
