Weight means longer play time and surprisingly good bass. Hang from a tree or place on a picnic table with its stereo mate a couple of (like 50ft) tables away and fill a group picnic space.

Love most things about it, specially for the $100 I paid! Sound quality, loudness, and battery life are good. It was a gift that I continue to benefit from.

I own about 5 bluetooth speakers and this one is my favorite. I have Bose and Tribits and Sony, but this one is great and has the longest lasting battery.

I bought this for the shower. It's just amazing sound in there. I am sure this is enhanced by the shower setting, the hard surfaces and small space, but the bass is fantastic, the highs are clear and whether you're listening to music or speech (podcasts) you'll hear clearly over the running water.

I have been using it for over 2 weeks and I love it, my car doesn't have a stereo but with this that's not a problem anymore, speaker is load and battery last forever

Sounds good outdoors but not in an open field. I like that the sound doesn't just go one way but around. Haven't timed it as far as play time. Charged it up overnight and enjoyed it at the beach for 5 hours and still had juice.

For the quality of sound and the price you can't find another one like this Megaboom 3, The battery last more than 1 week and I use it like 8 hours/day.

Its sounds better than in store, takes up very little desk space and best of all i am very very impressed with the battery life wasn't expecting that life from a pretty quick charging time
