The speaker has great sound for being the size that it is. I would describe it as room-filling with good mid-range and highs and great base for a little speaker with very long battery life.

I absolutely love the Boom speakers. Quality sound & great price. Whether I’m lounging by the pool, cleaning the house, hosting a get together or using the speaker in my massage room the sound is always perfect. This is the 3rd Boom I’ve bought & all work perfectly and are durable. The first 2 Booms I bought have taken a beating out at the pool & still work just fine after 6 years.

The reason why I love my megaboom 3 is because of the longevity of the battery, I own a jbl flip4 and also a jbl xtreme 2 and neither of them last as much as the megaboom 3 at the same volume. I work in the trades so I use it everyday for at least 8 hours and I’m able to use it for 2-3 days without charge and being used at least at 75% max volume. Yes the bass is not as much as the jbl but I’ll rather have my battery last days without having to worry about charging everyday

I love this speaker because the sound very loud and good. It working great, easy to carry to out side too.

I would give it 5 for just sound for a speaker at this price. It gets docked a point for the app. These work great for background sound to fill your home while entertaining. I have two and they fill the dining and living room with balanced sound. There are draw backs. 1. the sound level is the same for each speaker. Turning down the sound in one turns it down on both. (Maybe there is a setting to change this, can't find it). 2. The app could be better and allow you to change things easier. They tried to make the app to "friendly" and unless you want to do exactly what the app thinks you want to do its difficult to navigate and do something else.

Sound quality is superb. The bass is strong and has amazing range. Will highly recommend!

Beautiful sound and looks great as well. But I had a EU Boom 2 that seems to be louder. And also claims to have 20 hour battery life but only plays for maybe 5 hours when charged 100%
