Love it! Another amazing speaker for my collection!

I bought this speaker to use while riding in my Razr utility

I had the megablast and that was amazing! The megaboom 3 doesn't compare. The speaker sounded like it was inside of a cooler didnt sound very clear bass was ok. Wish my megablast didnt break. Hope ultimate ears can make something closer to the megablast.

Partying up is sometimes tricky and all the megabooms aren’t readily recognized. I have 2 Megaboom 3s and one Boom 3 and the Boom is seen on the app more easily than the second Mboom even though it’s further away. Mboom is definitely fuller sounding than the Boom. N

Best summer purchase. brought to the beach every day, so tired of hearing other people's music. this nicely drowned them out without being the too loud bozo myself. very easy to use and setup

I just about returned the Megaboom 3 as it has too much bass and muddy mid range the way it comes out of the box. Even using the EQ options in Apple Music couldn't even start to lower the bass and lower mid range into audiophile territory. Then I installed that the "Boom" app on my phone that give you a 5 band equalizer and some other nice features. If you leave the center EQ slider where it is and stair step up the upper mid and treble slider and stair step down the mid base and lower base sliders the speaker starts to sound pretty good. Another big plus is you can turn it on from your phone app and the blue bluetooth range is up to 150 feet. A lot of value for $150. I am keeping it.

I got it on sale for Christmas. Best buy for whatever reason had this one on sale for cheaper than the others because of the color. But it's easily a speaker that can compete with the $200-$300 ones.

Sounds alright could be better. High and mid are ok bass is bit muffled

Syncs very easy. The app makes it very easy to use. Sound setting presets are good for quickly changing from music to podcasts, and allows customization of the first three don’t work for you.

Brand new product after opening, doesn't charge out of the box. Charging light is blinking but doesn't go past 20% charging. I updated the firmware, tried resetting the speaker multiple times, tried different outlets, tried different chargers and nothing worked. I then proceeded to google the issue and there are many discussions on the subject. It seems this is a known issue with Ultimate Ears. I will be returning this brand new product to the store. First time in my life I ever had to write a bad review.

When it comes to portable speakers UE has what you looking for. My speakers have gone threw it all and they operate, charge and hold charge just as specified even after all the beating.

Only downsides of this speaker are the weight. It’s pretty heavy. You also have to buy your own caribiner if you’re a biker. The last drawback is the fact that the speaker cuts out from time to time during playback. For the most part a good speaker.
