When it comes to portable speakers UE has what you looking for. My speakers have gone threw it all and they operate, charge and hold charge just as specified even after all the beating.

Brand new product after opening, doesn't charge out of the box. Charging light is blinking but doesn't go past 20% charging. I updated the firmware, tried resetting the speaker multiple times, tried different outlets, tried different chargers and nothing worked. I then proceeded to google the issue and there are many discussions on the subject. It seems this is a known issue with Ultimate Ears. I will be returning this brand new product to the store. First time in my life I ever had to write a bad review.

I was so excited after reading the reviews. It was supposed to sound great and float. IT DOESN'T! I don't know if it floats but it sounds very tinny. Within minutes I was ready to return it and get something else. Buy the JBL; either flip or charge. Way better sound.

Only downsides of this speaker are the weight. It’s pretty heavy. You also have to buy your own caribiner if you’re a biker. The last drawback is the fact that the speaker cuts out from time to time during playback. For the most part a good speaker.

I love it. good all around sound and loud .... they work great paired. sound best when on the floor . I think its better then most high end speakers. you are going to want another one..

I was very pleased with this purchase, no downsides. The app on the phone is a little bare bones, but still extremely useful and easy to use. Sound is excellent too. Would recommend.

It is a good sounding speaker This is my 2nd UE Mega boom I’m a little disappointed that they discontinued having a Jack for an iPod I still use my iPod

This is a very good speaker to have around the house.

I am deciding whether or not to return or keep. Purchased based on someone responding to a question saying the unit had a 3.5mm adaptor. That's what I need to connect my classic ipod to listen to music. It doesn't have said adaptor, meaning it is useless unless I get a bluetooth transmitter for the ipod.

Not horrible but not great. Sound is so so, when I read "MEGABOOM" I guess I expected more. My $19 dollar Wegmans speaker is just as good. I would imagine if you ran 3 or 4 of these together it would sound great. If you're going to spend that kind of money certainly not worth it. Volume is funky, goes from low to a mid high.

I upgraded from my little Wonderboom. Both work great. I love this speaker. The sound is great. The only complaint I have is that I don’t know how to sync the two. Great purchase!

Going to buy another one so I can pair up outside on patio.

Sound is nice. But if you want deep bass you won't get it with this unit. For the money I found a cheaper option with better bass. I would think that Megaboom means exactly that. But not in this case. The bass is the reason for my 3 stars. Other than that ita a pretty good speaker

I have trouble pairing them, also they are easily susceptible to interference . Forinstance, my Apple Magic Mouse causes a ton of distortion if it is near or in-between the two speakers. But when they work, they are good.

This is a great speaker for inside listening but definitely not for the outside. I had researched for best pool/beach bluetooth speakers and this came out on many lists. Sadly, this is not the case for me, the sound gets lost in the wind even at top volume.
