After spending 3 hours trying to connect both to an iPhone we finally got them to work for a party. A couple of days later neither one of them worked with the same iPhone using same Megaboom app. Very frustrating...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3. I am sorry that you are not happy with the sound quality and design. If you have not already done so, I recommend downloading the Ultimate Ears “Boom” app for firmware updates and equalizer adjustments. I recommend using this app to adjust the sound settings to your preferences. Please also check the sound settings on the connected device, as well as the settings for the apps that you are using. Most music apps have quality adjustments (the default for music streaming apps is typically not at the highest quality. The reason for this is to conserve data. I recommend using the highest quality option if your data usage permits). Further assistance is available through the Boom app.

Stopped charging after 4x use

Good speaker but didn’t come with external charger

Don’t Get it.

The battery dies fast and now it doesn’t even charge. It hasn’t even been 6 months. The sound was the only thing that was decent. It’s embarrassing to say I got it.

I am sorry that the Megaboom 3 is not working as expected. This battery deficiency may be caused by bad charging due to an inappropriate charging adapter.
