If I leave it charging for an hour or two, the app will say 100% battery and 2-3 minutes after using it, it’ll start beeping and saying battery low. I’ve had better speakers for half the price. Not to Mention, there’s not much support for this speaker and I’m stuck with a $150 brick that doesn’t work within than 6 months after buying it.

Anything that moves between the 2 units when synced causes break up and bad reception. I am considering returning these units because of this. The app that controlls these speakers is subpart for the money they cost. I will trouble shoot and update review.

I’m stuck with it because it passed the warranty. That’s what happens when you buy early for Christmas and taking too long to figure it out. Still in box.

While it may not have Alexa built into the speaker features, you can setup playlists from Amazon Music through the free Ultimate Ears app! There's also the Alexa enabled Ultimate Ears Megablast speaker! You'll be able to ask Alexa to play any song you'd like, as well as other Alexa features! Hope that helps. -N from Logitech

Powerful Bluetooth Speaker with Strong Sound!

I'd say it compares well with my JBL Charge 2, but with louder sound (granted, this Megaboom 3 is also a bit larger). Easy to connect right away to my iPhone. Easy learning of the few buttons at the top as well as the VERY large volume buttons (they are pretty obvious :) The app also had some adjustments for the equalizer, but the app is not required to play which is nice. Allows to tie in with friends as well. Lastly, the battery appears to be quite strong and I hope it doesn't degrade too soon. Overall, excellent bluetooth speaker!

Posted .Hello TioSam. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Megaboom 3. I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the sound quality of the speaker. While I agree that the original Megaboom (in 2015) is fantastic, the Megaboom 3 builds on that same design and engineering and actually uses better quality speakers/radiators and battery. Do you have the Ultimate Ears app downloaded on your device? You may need a firmware update which can be done through the app. Have you tried all 4 speakers that you purchased? It is possible that the one you opened and tried could just be a lemon. You should be able to exchange that one if that is the case, because the MB3 is definitely one of the best sounding speakers in its class.

Posted .Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you've had some issues with your Megaboom 3. I would recommend reinstalling the app to see if that fixes the connectivity issue. As for the sound cutting in and out, that could be a bluetooth issue with your device, so if you navigate to your devices bluetooth settings and "forget" the device and then reconnect it that could solve the issue.
