Difficult pairing. Loud noises when successfully paired, sound quality just ok, not audiophile at all. tried it out in an office, just didnt work. might be good for outside, but didnt get to try it out outdoors.

I have a few bluetooth speakers over the years and this one is very loud with great bass and sound clarity. I'd say it compares well with my JBL Charge 2, but with louder sound (granted, this Megaboom 3 is also a bit larger). Easy to connect right away to my iPhone. Easy learning of the few buttons at the top as well as the VERY large volume buttons (they are pretty obvious :) The app also had some adjustments for the equalizer, but the app is not required to play which is nice. Allows to tie in with friends as well. Lastly, the battery appears to be quite strong and I hope it doesn't degrade too soon. Overall, excellent bluetooth speaker!

I thought it would be a bit more robust than it is.

What a Disappointment. It is a Cheap version. The sound quality is Bad. Have an Original one 10 yrs old. And sounds FANTASTIC. Sad that I got 4 for Christmas gifts

One of the two speakers does not work properly, it has interference. The sound constantly breaks out. It also does not connect properly to the app. It is one of the speakers.

I bought this speaker and returned after 10 days. It worked fine it just sounded like crap. Everytime it was turned up loud there was a hiss. For the same price I purchased a Fugoo XL Tough. Much better speaker. Don't waste your money on the Megaboom 3.

I Bought This About A Month Ago And So Far so good

Nothing pleases a 19 year old like loud music and this Megaboom does the trick. Nothing please me more than when she takes it with her - out off the house :)

This little speaker actually does what it promises! The bass is great sounding, and the music is loud. Super portable with being so durable and waterproof! The added features from the app are worth it, with preset and customizable EQ settings. Plus this spesker has a great little feature called "block party" where other phones can connect through the app to the same speaker or speakers( up to 150 with "party up"), and create playlists from more than one user. The overall sound and way these speakers can be used is just amazing! On a side note: there are 2 mfr apps in the google play store, only the "Boom and MegaBoom" app would work on my phone - (Samsung Galaxy Note 8)

Bought this for my brother as a Christmas present. Now he usues it everywhere he goes.

It is bad! Not worth the money we spent. $169 we gifted Best Buy. After only a month it no longer charges. Took it to Best But who says nothing can be done, to contact manufacturer. We did and they wanted us to send a recording of us trying to charge it. We did. Going on a couple of weeks and haven’t heard anything from them. The box says 2 year warranty. It a Lie!!

This is my second UE megaboom bluetooth speaker. One in my Florida home and the other in Michigan. I have recommended them to my friends.

I live in an apartment, when the air conditioner is running I would have the TV loud to hear it. Now I have this right by my chair, it is great!!!

The sound is ok on this device, but it doesn’t have the deep base I was looking for. I returned the product and bought a competitors speaker and very happy with my decision. Unfortunately I can not recommend this product.

WOrks great. Nice features in this edition. Wonderful sound. But, I could not SHUT IT OFF! Otherwise a great product. I may bring it in for an exchange.

Just received my UE MEGABOOM 3 bluetooth speaker today. Wow! This thing is amazing. This is one of the best if not the best bluetooth speaker of its size and price range that I've tested to date. Included in the box with the speaker is the usual user manual documentation along with the USB charging cable and charging block. On top of the speaker is the Power On/OFF Button, the Bluetooth Button, and the new Magic Button. On the front is the large over-sized +/- Volume Buttons that users have come to love with the UE Brand. At the top on the back is the portability carry loop (not sure that'll I carry the speaker by that loop) and down at the bottom on the back is small flap that opens up to the micro USB charging port. Under the base of the speaker at the very bottom is port for the charging dock (which is sold separately). Simply place the speaker on the POWER UP Charging Dock and insert the micro USB charging cable into the back of the dock. Upon pressing the power button there was an audio cue to signify that its powered on. Pressing the power button automatically (at least on the initial use) puts the speaker into bluetooth pairing mode. A quick search in the settings menu of my iPhone and the speaker is connected very quickly. Opened the App Store and downloaded the Ultimate Ears companion app for the BOOM / MEGABOOM. Cued up my favorite album in Apple Music was blown away with the amazing sound quality as well as the clarity of the vocals in the music. Thankfully I was off from work today and everyone is was gone, so I really got to crank it up and experience why its called MEGABOOM. The Magic Button on top can be used as a pause and play button, press 2x to skip to the next song, or long press to play any playlists that you setup in the companion app. Another great feature of this speaker is that it allows you to create your own party by pairing additional speakers up to 150 more speakers (UE BOOMS / MEGABOOMS). Or you could just create what's called a BLOCK PARTY which allows your friends or family members to also pair their phones to the speaker which allows everyone to add to the playlist and individual DJ a party or listening session. The app is very nice and very easy to use. and also updates the speaker with any new software available. I updated my speaker with the newest firmware which took 3 minutes if that. The app also tells you how much battery life the speaker currently has (as long as its connected to your phone at the time). Mine initially said it had 20%. After about an 45 minutes it said 80%. You can also check battery life by pressing the middle of both the +/- Volume buttons at the same time. And like most bluetooth speakers the UE MEGABOOM 3 also connects to other devices like smart TV, Roku devices, Apple TV, game systems, etc as long as the devices are bluetooth compatible. I'm very happy with the UE MEGABOOM 3 bluetooth speaker and recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome speaker with tons of features.
