I am here to tell you they all don’t live up to the hype. The Megaboom 3 lives up to Ultimate Ears’ claims and then some. Pairing is seamless, battery life is 20+ hrs, it’s waterproof, drop proof and gives high quality 360 degree sound with customizable bass and treble to truly bring music to your ears. They have done a fantastic job with this speaker and you can see the quality built in from the exterior cloth cover to the buttons and really the whole package. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars and only 4...(I’d actually say it should be 4.5 stars but I can’t give it 4.5 stars) is due to the fact it lacks one feature that I feel should be included and that is the ability to use the speaker on phone calls as a speakerphone. If it had that this would be the perfect Bluetooth speaker. Otherwise it’s pretty close.

The Megaboom 3 can "party up" with 150+ other Megaboom 3, Megaboom, Boom 3, Boom 2, Boom, and Hyperboom speakers. This is the best way to use the Booms outside! You can download the Ultimate Ears app and use that to pair your Megaboom 3 with your older Boom. They can be spread out up to 150 feet apart to cover more space. Also, the Hyperboom is our party speaker that can truly stand on its own outdoors!

If you haven't already, please download the free Ultimate Ears app to check for any missing firmware updates. This usually fixes battery charging issues. If you've done that and are still having charging issues, you do have a 2-year limited warranty that can be used to have a replacement sent out to you. UE Speakers are the best

They have great battery life, beautiful sound, and stand up to any element. I already have the Wonderboom so I could not wait to get this Megaboom. Right out of the box this speaker looks and feels great. Very high quality. Once paired I cranked the volume while on my patio. Awesome around! I love this thing! It has been pouring in Chicago for the past few days and I don't have to worry about this getting wet as it is extremely waterproof. Overall I give this speaker a 10 out of 10.

Take some boom anywhere

I mention this because I plan to take it kayaking with me. Many times I’ll paddle out to a destination and just chill. Nice to bring some tunes. May even try on my SUP. The sound on this is great. Really fills a room. The battery life is great for when you’re on the go and it is very lightweight and portable! I am anxiously excited to accidentally make it float. Enjoy!
