Worked for a short while
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice little speaker when it worked. After a few months mine would turn on, then power down. I tried everything, overnight charging, power cable atteched, to no avail. Do yourself a favor, buy a Sonos.

Dont but this speaker

Ruins your music experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The app that you have to down load in order to use the speaker CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTS your listening experience and shuts off the app and your music in mid stream. I paid so much money for a top of the line boom speaker, only to be disappointed with a horrible product. What a disaster!!!!!!!

Posted .Hi Qtpie510, Very sorry to hear about the Ultimate Ears app ruining your music experience when you use the MEGABOOM 3. You don't have to use the app in order for the speaker to work, although it does help with any firmware updates when available (and that's usually when you initially pair your speaker and open the app). I suggest uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it to see if that works and then make sure that the firmware is updated. You'll see a red dot on the settings wheel when you open the app and choose the speaker. Hope that this helped and you're able to fully enjoy your MEGABOOM 3 speaker. Trash Quality

If you haven't already, please download the free Ultimate Ears Boom app to make sure your Megaboom has all the latest firmware. This may fix your battery life problem. But, you also do have a 2 year limited warranty that can be used to have a replacement sent out to you.
