Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptic about this speaker, usually I go with Bose for speaker setups, but I got this and was surprise in the clarity and bass it has, some speakers when they are in max volume sounds like screeching but this one manages to keep it clean and sounding nice, and the cool app allowing you to turn on the speaker without having to get up and turn it on was a nice touch.

They sound fantastic and are a great value! Only issue we have is that when you have the speakers linked, there is sometimes a lag between the two.

Range on separation when paired could be better but having stereo left and right adds nice depth to listening.

Good speaker, but not quite an improvement

The sound is great, and I love having the ability to connect them all via Bluetooth and blast my music. The Megaboom 3 looked appealing - I liked the design, and I thought the sound and supposedly extended battery life would be a step up. However, I will say that I was somewhat disappointed to find that this speaker, despite its size, is no improvement over the Boom 2s that I have. The battery doesn’t seem to last the promised 20 hours as advertised, and the sound doesn’t seem any better. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great speaker. For the sale price I got it for, it was still cheaper than the newer Boom 3.
