Great sound and syncs great. Bought as a gift, and the birthday girl shared that she uses it daily without fail.

I like this speaker. Good sound. Base is really pretty dang good. The volume could be stronger. I wonder if the cell phone source plays any part in that. That question is above my pay grade! The charging base that came free with my purchase. It's a very nice addition. The speaker has to sit somewhere when I'm not using it. Might as well be fully charged sitting on the matching stand seems like a perfect solution!

Pretty decent sound quality, so long as you use the app, which allows you to equalize it. Otherwise, it certainly lives up to its Megaboom name and is quite boomy.

The Megaboom 3 is actually a great sounding speaker. It has good base tones, and mid and upper-range, too. Sadly, the Bluetooth range is very poor. Maybe 15 feet when no walls are in the way. I replaced an AirPlay speaker, which uses WiFi. It had far greater range. I considered the possibility that something was wrong with Bluetooth (it never had the range of WiFi) , but I tried several devices, including from a PC with the same results. If anyone has suggestions, I would be happy to hear from you.

This speaker is quite average. The sound is good but no better than its smaller siblings. The bass seems like its strength but even it didn't leave me but mildly impressed. I would certainly consider one of UE's smaller and cheaper offerings before this one. They sound just as nice and nearly as loud.
