Excellent speaker. Great full sound. Gets very loud and never sounds bad. Definitely waterproof and performs as advertised. Glad I went with this instead of the jbl.

We have long loved the UE Boom products. The Megaboom is no exception. It's a wonderfully loud speaker that is durable and impressive. The new feature allowing for a base charge versus the cord has helped tremendously as well. While it's an upgrade, it's worth the purchase. The cable charge works well, but in time, the connection wears out and can wreak havoc on your charging. Great sounds for the price. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Big and powerful enough to make an impression. Surprising bass, 20 hours of battery life, durable, and waterproof. This speaker will definitely provide pumping music for parties indoors and out.

The primary reason for this speaker was to put it behind the windshield on my motorcycle. It sounds pretty good at 60mph, of course it is battling exhaust pipes, wind and other traffic. So they do need to be cranked up about 90%. But you can make out what you're listening to. Not like if you were in a car, but still a nice alternative to no music or ability to use cell phone GPS, at all. Waterproof, dust-proof, and impact resistant makes it fairly suitable. Take in the house, it's nice in any area, any room. You can use the APP to use the EQ option, which is pretty responsive. Fills a living room, a basement, and if you jam while in the bathroom, it really cranks nicely.

It's a great speaker. Good full sound, deep bass and loud. So far I've found it to have good battery life and a sturdy construction. Only small issue is the power level isn't always accurate in the app. I believe there is a fix for this but I have not tried it.

Bought this speaker last June and it has been my go to listening device ever since. First, the audio quality is incredibly well defined all the way to the highest volume and makes every song played on here very enjoyable. I have used the speaker for casual listening, apartment parties, camping trips, and many other occasions and it has never failed to impress whether your looking for something to play background music or to fill a room with sound, this speaker covers it. Suffice to say I have had a great experience with this speaker and it is the best option for the price as far as portable bluetooth speakers go.

This thing looks high quality and sounds even better, just for fun I threw it in the pool to test the water proofness and it worked perfectly. THe battery also seems to last for days.

Very cool, very loud for its size, just not for me. I had 2 Nokia Play 360 speakers that I purchased about 10 years ago and they were the first speakers that I knew could pair as a left and right channel. I was looking at updating them. I bought these Megaboom 3's and a set of Bose Soundlink II's. Both outperformed my Nokia Plays in volume easily. the MB3 had the most bass, but for the price difference it was not enough for me to keep them. I end up going with the Bose. The MB3 would have been my choice, but I wanted speakers that could pair up and easily pack 2 in my suitcase. Size and weight was a large factor.

I've had this speaker for about 6 months now and use it all the time, the sound really is great. Its a step up from my previous Bluetooth speaker and i use it all the time. really puts out a solid sound, great for my workouts and yard work. Connection hasnt been an issue for me and quality is also really good.

These Megaboom speakers are awesome. Sound great, easy to pair and long battery life. Also really like that I can power it on and off via Bluetooth

This is our third UE speaker purchased and I am pleased with this one as well as the others. The Megabbom 3 is the largest of the three and appears a little bigger than its specs suggest it is compared to the other smaller ones. Battery life is very good, but we don't play it at high volumes very much. It comes with a really nice charging cord and wall cube - they did not cheap out on the accessories. No problems with paring or physical controls and I like the ability to hear the battery level remaining when you press both the + &- at the same time. The app is nice to have especially the equalizer function. Which brings me to the sound quality. It is a little more biased to bass than the smaller ones which is good and bad depending on the volume and room size. At low volume the Megaboom 3 is a little muddy. However it balances out when the volume is turned up and it sounds even better outside when played at higher volume - especially if it is near a reflective surface to bounce the sound off. Inside at background music levels, I tend to attenuate the bass with the app EQ but with only 5 bands you don't have much control. If your primary listening is inside at lower volume, you may want to listen to the smaller UE Booms. I find their sound to be cleaner and more airy. I think this is a great little BT speaker with the features I needed: waterproof, good battery life, stylish and relatively light weight.

Bought the MEGABOOM3 as an additional speaker, based on my experience with BOOM2 speaker I've had for past 2-3 years. I like this one even better, great sound and looks good. It's heavier and less convient to carry around, but no other downside vs BOOM2. Very pleased with this purchase.
