The app made it super easy to connect and turn on/off. I bought the charging pad which I highly recommend because you don't have to worry about making sure its charged before going somewhere.

Worth the money

I had the misfortune of dropping it from 2 stories high and it survived ? It did get a bit messed up luckily it’s only on the outside. Sound quality is the same ,no weird noises or weird vibrations either. Still crisp and clear sound . Love this thing

I will say it was worth it. Sound is full indoors in large rooms. Outside it does the job but not super loud. Well if you are able to get more than one you can link them together and have a crazy party!

Good oomph

However, having it float in the water diminishes the audio quality. It’s better used on a boat or pool where an accidental push into the water won’t matter since it stays working. Otherwise, keep it dry.

The megaboom 3 is better than the UE boom 2 and I know it's gonna last another 5 to 6 years. Great speaker, great product. Worth buying. highly recommend.
