I did purchase it on sale go i thought it was a good value.

Puts out the best bass that you are going to hear from a stand-alone speaker like this. I had bough an original UE Boom speaker that we love and this one is bigger with more sound output. I picked this one up on a 1-day flash sale where it was $100 off, so it was a bargain.

The speaker can be heard through the whole house (I have a small apartment). Very clear sound. The bass is there as well. The best part is being able to download the mega boom app and from there you can connect other boom speakers if you have any AND turn the speak on and off from the app as well.

Can adjust the volume. Fortunately I'm retired and can spend many enjoyable hours. I've discovered many musicians and songs I've enjoyed years ago, but had forgotten. Great older times and wonderful memories return with rediscovering the music. Happy? Very much so!
