We have owned the first boom, mega boom and boom 3 and these are definitely an awesome upgrade. We still have our mega boom and boom 3 and these double up with them perfectly. Great sound quality. IMO it’s far better than the other competitors. Completely waterproof and we also have the disk charging dock that works with our boom 3 as well.

Good sound but not mega-good!

Didnt hear the Mega in this unit. I found my original UE Boom was very close in sound. So i returned this because there is no sense in wasting money on something that is so close to a smaller one. Might be good for indoor use

They were on sale and I bought two... Easy to download the MEGABOOM 3 app and there you have it... still a little confusing to get the app to play in stereo but with a little work the speakers pair up and sound is superb. I think they are waterproof as well so safe if they fall in pool. You Could not be happier with sound, great base and easy charge cords...

So good, I bought a second one!
