I also make great use of the tap controls because they make it so I can do basic functions without having to pull out my phone.

It can also get very loud for outside entertaining, which is pretty cool considering it's size (it's not "small", but definitely easy to carry around). I compared many speakers (including the UE Boom) before making the decision to get the Mega Boom. For the money, a very good choice. I've paired it with an Amazon Echo for voice activation of Pandora, etc. and that works well.

The sound clarity and overall performance of the speaker is amazing. We'll probably get another in the future, worth every honey that's for sure!
