    The speaker sounded real good in the store but when I took it to work to try it it was lacking. The salesperson kept saying how this speaker was better than the same priced Bose speaker because it could play much louder. I can't listen to it super loud at work and at lower volume it seemed lacking in the big room I work in. Took the speaker back and traded it for the Bose Soundlink which I feel has better sound at realistic volume.

    Great at first then started crackling really badly and I’ve tried to do the factory reset but the issue came right back the next day

    I had high hopes based on UE MEGABOOM’s very aesthetically appealing look, but, overall sound quality was just ok at best. I returned it immediately next day and purchased from Best Buy instead another Bluetooth Speaker from a different manufacturer: Altec Lansing - Super LifeJacket Jolt IMW889L Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Qi Wireless Charging Pad. I have been very pleased ever since.

    I have the original UE boom and have purchased a couple of UE Boom 2s as gifts. I must say the sound quality on my original UE boom, which is several years old now, is equal to the MEGABoom. I do regret this purchase. The UE Boom 2 has much better sound quality and clarity. If I had my time back I would have definitely purchased the Boom 2 over the Mega for myself.
