Sometimes bluetooth connectivity fails when playing tracks in youtube

This was for work but was a little too big but did like it.

This speaker was great for the price but wasn't loud enough for outside.

I must say that, even though I seldom give 5-star ratings to goods or services, I can absolutely give the UE Megaboom this rating with absolutely no reservations! This beast can really bring it, as many of the reviews I read previous to my purchase stated, and it's nice to have that power, but if your use case is not a 24/7 party, you'll be happy to know that the performance in the 25% - 75% volume range is excellent! I like to listen to music that had some depth, layers and good separation, and the Megaboom really delivers nicely! This speaker has a great form factor, it is very portable and delivers great sound wherever you are. I haven't tested the waterproof factor yet, but I can say that it has been rained on and used in steamy situations without a hitch. Some great places to use this are around the house; kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, garage and back yard. Or, charge it up and take it to the pool, to the park for a picnic, On the trail for a hike or bike ride or use it on your boat or in your camper. Also great for job sites, dorm rooms or music at the office. I've used mine for presentations and also know someone who has one built into his costume that he wears to ComocConn. I bought my girlfriend one of these for christmas as well, and using the app, I have used both, and that configuration sounds REALLY good! I have also recommended this to friends, one of whom went with a different product and wasn't satisfied. He ended up returning the unsatisfactory device and going with the Megaboom and has been happy since. I haven't seen the Megaboom 2 yet, but I'm in NO hurry to upgrade...this device is solid and likely won't be going anywhere for a good long time! If you're in the market, give this some serious consideration, you'll be glad you did!

Paying $50 more just because it outer is designed differently

Unbelievable sound quality for such a small device. These speakers get crazy loud and the sound quality does not diminish at all. great asthetic and 360 degree sound dispersal. If you're looking for durable, loud, good quality Bluetooth speakers; look no further. So happy with my purchase.

I bought this speaker after doing some research on a new outdoor speaker and this one a winner! The sound that comes out is crisp and clear and packs a really good bass. I'm into more electronic music and from the highs to the lows, the sound was perfect. And not to mention the durability and waterproofing are a huge plus. The app that goes with the speaker works great too. For the money, this speaker is definitely worth it. I read some reviews about other outdoor speakers and listened to some in stores and nothing compares to the Megaboom. I definitely want to get another one for the pairing up of two megabooms.

Do not get this model. The battery is terrible. I have other models that are smaller, louder, with a way better battery. With full charge, I can check a day or two later and it will be 75%. Battery lasts maybe an hour. Junk

Initially, the product was great, so good I bought a second to sync them together. First run, was good, but difficult to sync, afterwards the original speakers sound became distorted. Thinking it was user error, went back to single speaker and the sound was awful. I returned both...will stick with the Bose from now on.

The speaker is beautiful. You can tell that it is built with find materials. The only downside is that the plastic can get scratched and leave Mark's. It's a soft rubber. The sound is great. It has a deep base and goes as loud as I would want to. It truly is waterproof. I have thrown into a pool and is fine. I was a little hesitant at first due to how expensive this product is, but I have no fear of throwing it into the pool again. I think the price is a little high. Hopefully in the future, it will be brought down another hundred dollars. I like to go long boarding and carry it into my backpack. It is a little bit too big, I think, to be carrying it around when you're on adventures. I would recommend the UE Roll four carry along adventures. The UE boom bay also be a good choice. I would recommend getting the Megaboom if you plan on setting in down and not caring it with you. It comes with a nice app. You can pair it up with another UE speaker. I personally wish I could pair it up with more speakers than 1. Overall, it is a GREAT speaker! I recommend it if you have the cash and are NOT balling on a budget.

The app will not connect to the speaker on my IPhone, when the app was first installed it connect successfully. A short time later it will connect to the phone but the app will not acknowledge the speaker.

Thinking is gonna be a good speaker but unfortunately had issues connecting my Bluetooth and a lot of times it got disconnected from the speaker in had to reconnect

I purchased this speaker for my husband for his wedding present. It ruined our reception. It turned off every time he turned it on. Thankfully, my husband is very creative, and devised another way for us to have music at the reception.
